He was wearing a black hood and walking down the street when he heard the screeching of tires. He smiled,brought out a small chip from his breast pocket and swallowed it. He turned just as a blindfold was put over his head. He was hit hard with the butt of a gun and he passed out immediately. He was thrown into a van and taken away.
He inhaled deeply and opened his eyes. He shut his eyes immediately because of the light shunned at him. He turned his face to the side and slowly opened his eyes. His hands and legs were tied tightly to the chair. The light dimmed and the door was opened. Someone entered and shut the door. The person began walking and he recognized the footstep immediately. The person sat on a seat opposite him,tapped on the table and the light were turned off. It took him time before his eyes adjusted to the light in the room. He saw her sitting opposite him,one hand on the table and the other on her laps. He scoffed and spat on the floor.
"We meet again Hillary," she said staring into his eyes.
"Yes we do."
"You were lucky the last time we met."
"No I wasn't,you were. Tell me,how did you escape the blast?"
"I thought you won't ask. Well let me tell you,there was a vault beneath the hall. All I had to do was press a button and that's all."
"Lucky you but you won't be that lucky again."
She chuckled. "Tell me something,you have a plan?"
"Let's say yes,we are all going to die. But before we die,I want to know who my real mother is."
"I am glad you know you are going to die soon. I will grant you the knowledge of who your forsaken mother is. Her mother's name was Mbong and she died few months ago from breast cancer," she said,brought out a photograph from her jacket inner pocket and showed him.
He stared at the photograph. It was an old picture,probably taken decades ago. The woman in the picture was smiling. Her hair was parked in a bun. The smile,eyes,nose and brows were same as Janice's. He need not to be told the woman in the picture is his mother. Tears rolled down his cheeks.
He sniffed. "You've been evil for a long time now but your cup is filled up. I have only one regrate,Janice won't be opportune to see our biological mother's picture."
"Don't worry,I will have the picture sent to her."
"You won't have the opportunity to do that. You think I called you for the fun of it? No! It was planned,I know you will come looking for me after I called you and you foolishly fell into my trap. I have a tracker in me and the CTU know where you guys are now. I forgot to mention,the five thousand email you sent message to have been tracked also,it is just the matter of time before you all go down."
She was taken aback by what he said. She stared at him for some seconds then stood up abruptly and dashed to the door. He pressed his iron leg and the ankle broke immediately. The alarm sound started ringing loud. She placed her hand on the scanner beside the wall but it refused to recognize it. She turned sharply to him and saw him beaming. She stroad towards him and punched him hard on the face. Blood oozed out from his mouth and nose immediately. He began laughing loudly,she stood looking down at him confused.
"What have you done?" She asked in rage. He didn't answer her;he continued laughing. She hit her hands on the table and he stopped laughing.
"You want to know what I did? I just hacked into your system and locked all the exit to prevent you from running again. It is the apocalypse for use,we are all dying today,in the next two minutes."
She stood freeze for seconds then staggered backward and fell on the floor. He began laughing again,this time louder like someone who has lost his sanity. Missiles began raining on the facility until everything was brought down and leveled to the ground.
