Even their states don't show any sign of superiority over other regions yet the empty barrels keep beating their chest. If the headquarters of innovation and hardwork has nothing to show for it then they don't deserve to be taken seriously. Withhold federal allocation and see how their states will crumble |

Its a well known fact that they always pray and hope against Anthony Joshua cos he is a rank-one world heavy weight champion boxer but the guy keeps giving them heart attack. So olamide, wizkid, davido, kiss Daniel are not signing people n improved their lives. Strikethem:Honestly, you guys are so despicable and vile! In your attempt at revisionism and trying to portray a people whose only 'crime' is that they're sick and tired of sharing the same country with scum, you resort to all manner of tall tales concocted in your lab of propaganda and falsehood! How come the reports of so called Biafran 'atrocities' in your first link are being made known by a man who in all likelihood wasn't a participant in the war and who sounds like he's cut from the very same cloth as Itse Sagay (ie, dislikes Igbos)! I scanned your first link looking for the independent/neutral source of the authors allegations but found none! Probably he either imagines the stuff he wrote, or he was told so by another equally insecure bigot! If such atrocities were actually committed by Biafran soldiers, doesn't it stand to reason that the federal gov't of the day would have made capital out of it to show to the whole world Biafran 'aggression' and 'wickedness'? This would have been a surefire way to win even more Midwesterners over to their side, don't you think? Wouldn't there be newspaper reports on such 'atrocities' that can be referred to or quoted? Instead, what we have (your second link is proof of this as well) is someone, twenty years after the uncivil war, waking up in the morning and sitting down in their study to cook up a yarn worthy of the Pulitzer prize for literature! Given how evil the federal gov't of the time was (the fulani were actually pulling the strings behind the scene...forget that dumb christian called Gowon being HoS), it wouldn't be beyond the realms of possibility to suggest that they actually carried out a couple of atrocities in the Midwest themselves and then turned around to blame the Biafrans!....They're that devious!! It's a tried and tested technique that's still in use even till today where you see mercenaries, bandits and foreign terrorists wearing the Nigerian army uniform to commit unspeakable evil on civilians (most of whom are christians and middle-beltans)! Here are a few INDEPENDENT links on the Nigerian atrocities in Biafra...not conjecture, tales-by-moonlight, or malaria-induced hallucinations!: https://www.cambridge.org/core/books/asaba-massacre/A4F701A1F1228255ECFF10E4DC8375A1 http://archive.spectator.co.uk/article/27th-december-1968/10/britain-and-biafra-the-case-for-genocide-examine The Government has not thought it necessary to underline that the last big arms agreement was accompanied by a U0 million interest-free loan to the Nigerian government (ostensibly for telephones) and that to all intents and purposes Although photographs of the atrocities being perpetrated in Biafra have appeared in most newspapers, the general impression given by the captions and news coverage is that the children are starving to death as the result of a famine brought about by the war. Not a single newspaper has seen fit to point out that the children are dying as the direct and in- tended result of a siege which is supported by the British government, by the official opposi- tion party and by very nearly every Common- wealth correspondent in Fleet Street. However, since the failure of the 'quick kill,' Nigeria has returned to a siege strategy. Possibly this siege is intended to last only as long as is necessary for the Nigerians to secure another massive arms build-up, but the indications are otherwise. A siege is far cheaper and less dangerous to the fragile structure of Nigerian unity. Anybody can now see that a siege has no hope of working (at any rate until three quarters of the Biafrans are dead) and anybody at all interested in the matter is now in a posi- tion to decide that the only logical intention behind the resumption of siege tactics is a genocidal one. Visitors to Nigeria invariably come away convinced that no such intentionhttps://sites.tufts.edu/atrocityendings/2015/08/07/nigeria-civil-war/ Atrocities (1966-1970) |

odogwu9:The question should be who benefited from the coup if not the Ibos ? Why did they strike when Zik was not available so he can be killed too ? Yes, ironsi became the head of state but couldn’t carry out justice on the coupists because he was sympathetic to their cause and also reaped from it. |

Xander85:Oga, I don't think I ever said Nigerian soldiers did not commit atrocities, are you trying to defend biafran soldiers that they did not committed any atrocities against the people of Midwest. Oga stop looking for sympathy. You commit atrocities, everyone forgets about it and moved on. They commit against you, you started crying victim as if you people are innocent. Thinking people cares anymore. Can you swear with your life that biafran soldiers did not molest, rape n killed the people of Midwest. They change history, which history, so it is the one your ipob wrote down that is right. Why have you people never talked of how you people bombed Yoruba people inside casino in Lagos? |

Davido and Wizkid are OKAY talent wise, they just have commercial appeal and a good promo team... if you want to analyze real talent look no further than Tekno... dude is easily the most underrated artist in Nigeria and Africa right now, surely the next big thing in Afropop music. |
