Vic mo lateness is becoming so obvious, he better shine this world cup cos conte may not be there next season.

I heard he was rested by the team, so as to CELEBRATE the trophy, after which they will rendezvous in London.

Even all players of the CL winning team will get such treatment. He is 28 and this might be his last mundial, he has to live the dream.

I totally agree with this arrangement. Totally.

U now talk rubbish these days. Chidiebere is shortened to either Chidi or Ebere(Ebele) . My name is Kelechi, it's shortened to KC, reason some people call Iheanacho, KC. Even the name "Iheanacho (Ifeanacho) is shortened to Acho not Nacho. Where forgiveness take enter this matter I no know. U guys should try to free up ur minds.

Some time ago I wrote here Dat Ajala was a common name in my place, hence Simon Daddy Ajala could be from my community, person begin talk rubbish say Ajala has always been a yoruba name as though we were fighting. Just few days, a certain chinedu Ajanah (Ajala) played for our team B and I was kinda exonerated.

INTERVIEW – Ajiboye: Super Eagles Goalkeepers Are Partners, Not Rivals
completesportsnigeria.com May 24, 2018 8:23 PM

INTERVIEW – Ajiboye: Super Eagles Goalkeepers Are Partners, Not Rivals
Plateau United goalkeeper Oladele Ajiboye is one of four goalkeepers currently sweating it out in the Super Eagles pre-World Cup training camp in Uyo and in this exclusive interview with Completesportsnigeria.com’s KAYODE OGUNDARE, he reveals his World Cup aspirations, relationship with the other keepers and club ambition to retain the Nigeria Professional Football League title…

What was your reaction when you saw that you made the list of 30 players for the Super Eagles training camp?

Yes, to say the least, I was surprised when I saw my name on the list. I congratulated myself that my hardwork is paying off and I also thanked the technical crew for the consideration. It means they have been monitoring my performance all this while.

You have made the 30-man list but you still have to battle to be in the final 23. What do you think you need to do to make the cut?

I think I need to work harder, be more dedicated and focused and then I need to also pray because with God all things are possible. He’s kept me this far and I trust Him to see me through.

What’s the relationship between you and the other four goalkeepers? What’s the rivalry like?

I’ve always said that all four of us do not see each other as rivals. We are all working together to bring glory to Nigeria and anyone that God calls to be named in the team will have the support and prayers of the rest of us. Competition yes but rivalry, no. We are all friends.

What’s the difference between the training routine at your club and in the national team?

You can never compare national team training with your clubside. Even if you are in the national camp for just one week, the work schedule and training techniques will certainly be different. You need 200% focus in training when you are with the national team. You cannot afford to make mistakes because the stakes are higher and you carry the hope of so many people.

Talking about your club, do you think Plateau United can successfully retain the league title they won last year?

Yea, I believe the league title is still up for grabs and we have a very strong team which is good enough to win it even though we are not on top at the moment. We have walked this path before so we know what’s at stake and what’s required. We have the backing of the state governor, we have the same technical crew and we have even recruited new players which mean we are stronger than we were last year when we won the title so it is still very possible to win it.

Given all you have said, Plateau United are still trailing leaders Lobi Stars. Is it that the league is stronger than it was last year or your team is not as strong as it was when you won the title?

Thanks to the League Management Company (LMC), the league keeps improving year on year. You cannot compare what happened two seasons ago when Rangers won the title with last year when we won and now this year. Hopefully next season will still be better than this one. Even this season you can see how many teams are on the heels of Lobi Stars so it’s not going to be easy to predict who will win but we will continue to fight until the final day.

We wish you all the best and thanks for talking to us.

Thank you very much.

In terms of actual recognition, only Samuel Kalu has been recognized officially by placing second in the awards..

Your so called "team of the season" was first posted in March by me and is not an official record of anything.

Officially, Kalu is the second best rookie in Belgium. He will have the award on his shelf now.

First of all, I want to congratulate Samuel Kalu for been voted the second young footballer of the year in Belgium. That's a good one.

Such recognition must be applauded and rewarded.

At this junction, I tender my unreserved apology and withdraw back my statement that he was not among the top 5 permoming Nigerian player the Belgium league in front of undeniable, unquestionable and legit evidence placed before me.

Yes! He is the officially recognized top Nigeria young player in the Belgium pro league.

However, the eligible age for the Belgium Young player of the year is under 21. It must not exceed. That explains the reason Peter Olayinka, Uche Agbo, Abdul Ajagun and Simon Moses who are above 21 were not considered for the award despite their splendid performance that triumph Samuel Kalu's performance this season . Therefore, it does not mean Samuel Kalu was better than these aforementioned players this season, though, he will dispose Awoniyi and Bonnoveture from the top 5 nigerian players that performed in Belgium because these are n the same age rang but obviously not better than the rest. grin

Example for clarification, Landry Diamata won the Young player of the year last season ahead of Youri Tielemans who came second behind him but the same Youri Tielemans was adjourned the best player of the Belgian league the same season. You see. grin

Therefore,he is going to be placed at bottom of the top 5 on my list but not among the top 3, sorry. grin

Besides, don't give false information here that award are given to the second voted young player of the year. It is not true. grin

I am not taking anything away from him though. It's a good one.

That first eleven young player team of the season is no fake. It is recognized too. Abi, Ebony award is not official to you because it is not among the official award too? grin

On VicMo

Rohr has seen him at the WC qualifiers..he knows what he can bring to the team...he excused him...come what may...baring injuries... like in 2013 Nation Cup...VicMo will drive our team...i do not think his absence will affect team preparations...He is a connecting rod to this team.

On Ogu

He brings a certain calmness to this team...i like his movement off the ball when we are defending. His defensive qualities are top notch...watch Argentina friendly to confirm. He is at his best when we are defending..He also bring something lacking in the this team...LONG RANGE SHOTS..He even scores with it...He is tall too, heading out set-pieces by opponents... Ogu is going to the world cup

World Cup: Nigeria’s Iheanacho looking forward to game against ‘idol’ Messi

The Leicester City striker spoke of working hard to fulfilling his dream of turning out in Nigeria colours, and hopes to get one over his idol
Kelechi Iheanacho hopes Nigeria ‘get something’ from their tie against his ‘idol’ Lionel Messi and Argentina at the World Cup.

Gernot Rohr’s side are pitted with Croatia, Iceland and La Albiceleste in Group D of the global tournament.
However, they only get to play Jorge Sampaoli’s men in their final group game on June 26 as their campaign starts with a meeting with the Fiery Ones.
Although, the Leicester City is delighted with ‘memory’ he would have of lining up against the Argentina captain at the Saint-Petersburg Stadium, he aims to get one over him.

“I’ve had the opportunity to train with him when I was at the [Manchester] City Academy and he is something else,” Iheanacho told LCFC TV.
“I hope we get something against them and he’s going to play, so it’s going to be something good, a memory to play against Messi. He’s one of my idols so I look up to him.
“He’s so many people’s idol in the world so he’s a player you like to play with, to learn something, of course, so I will be happy to play against him.
“Of course, after 90 minutes, we’ll see what happens and hopefully we’ll get something.”

On his thought about Super Eagles’ group, he said: “It’s a difficult group, I think the most difficult if you ask me, but people will think it is not the most difficult.
“It’s going to be a difficult group because all the countries are strong and trying to get something as well.
“The countries, they are not messing around, they are strong countries so everyone will be strong and looking to get points to go through to the next round.”

The former youth international - part of Nigeria's 30-man provisional squad for the quadrennial tournament in Russia - also spoke of his pride at representing the three-time African champions at international level.

“Right from when I was little, I always had this dream of playing for country," he said.
“Of course, I worked hard to get to that place but I think I will always have this dream of playing for my country and wearing the green, white, green and it feels good for me.
“I love it so I’m proud to be playing for my country and to wear the green, white, green so it’s something everyone wishes to do, to play for their country.”

especially that young boy in vallarel of Spain.
but for now Moses still remain a very important player for the super eagles

Kelechi is 20 or thereabouts and playing in the 2nd tier of Dutch football. He is not the outstanding player in that league. He is forward player i.e. AM and has a very poor goal return. And you call that FABULOUSLY WELL.

The Eerste Divisie is low, I rate it on the same level of league one if not lower. Considering that the Eredivisie is rated 14 in Europe and is the easiest league to score in within the top 20 leagues in Europe. I would say he is far from Fabulous.

Arsenal is very far away from him now.

He is using the SE to bolster his career otherwise he has no business being in the SE. Simply not good enough. There are too many players better who have not been given the opportunity to showcase thier talents.

You are right on point with the bolded. That is just the plain thruth. grin

Victor Moses is a two weapon forged into one. He is a sword and at the same time a shield. No sane coach will drop such weapon from his armory.

You are clearly misrepresenting the facts.

Kelechi does not train with Ozil, Sanchez and Ramsey.

He is playing in the Eerste Divisie 2nd tier of Dutch football. It is low and what's more concerning is he is not the stand out player in that low league.

He is currently just an Arsenal player on paper, a mere speculative business transaction that may possibly. yield some dividend.

Unfortunately there is a continous trend for reasons unknown to give former Nigerian youth players irrespective of current progression opportunities in the SE to the detriment of far better performing players.

This is an undiluted thruth. However, in addition, there is selective selection trending.

Nnaa, stop defending that akpuda! Victor Moses is not a world class player and his shortcomings should not be tolerated. Is it because Onyekuru is injured ? Onyekuru and Simon can play everything VicMo has to play and still be as wasteful as him.
