Hello house. Pls help. I am the PA but hubby has an issue with his names, he has two passports, a Nigerian passport n a foreign passport. His 1st and middle names on both passports are different only surname is the same. We have done the one and same person affidavit but we want all his PR docs to be in his Nigerian name. If you have enough money on you, retake and remark. This journey requires sacrifice. You shall certainly overcome

so pathetic, but brace up and do both, remark and rewrite, by doing that you are increasing your chances of putting IELTS behind u

There's no law that prohibits anyone from using different names so long as it is not used for fraudulent purposes. The one and the same person affidavit is sufficient explanation. However, as everything Nigeria,
I'm sure his application will be scrutinised. There's nothing to worry about.

To err on the side of surplusage, he may want to add a letter of explanation as to why he has different names. Even though he has stated so in his affidavit.

Well, I'm sure you would be referred to read Page 0.

But before then, this your uncle with almost 15 years experience as a pharmacist should be somewhere close to 40 yrs old. He may not be the best applicant, especially if he doesn't have a first degree relative who is a PR or citizen of Canada and he didn't study in Canada. His CRS score may be quite low.

My assumption is that his wife is younger, she would attract more points.

After filling our application form and uploading our documents, we tried to make payment using our Standard Chartered domiciliary account VISA card and it had declined 3 times even though we have sufficient funds in the account. I know how you feel but Oga did not do badly at all.

Most times remarking for writing comes out positive.

Only him can answer that question with total conviction. Other things to consider? Who did he write with? BC or MOD? The timeframe of 12 weeks versus a week or so of remark comes in here. Cost implications etc
Who is the principal applicant? His score is actually fair for an accompanying spouse. All this should help you decide.

Just put it like this on the LOE. Affidavit is needed too-as u have done. And capture all the names on the eAPR and elsewhere. How did you fill out his part on the EE profile?

If you can afford the time, remark (12 weeks minimum )

If you can afford the dough, in addition to the remarking, book another test.

From your scores above, it's obvious that you have an above average competency level. So it's going to be a win-win for you- if lucky, your remarking (EOR) may yield a 7 for your writing whilst at the same time, you obviously have the capacity to do better at another sitting...See, it's a win-win (if you have the resources)

By the way (BTW), what's your current CRS with the above score?
What will it be if you have a 7 instead of the 6.5 in writing?
Is the above score your first attempt?
