My girlfriend is 3 weeks pregnant, and I don't have any job presently as I just finish the NYSC last month.

I told her to abort it, but she is refusing to abort, she sad she is scared of death. My parent re not aware but my brother and sister re aware, of cause, they will not support abortion.

I have made her see reasons why she must abort, financial reasons, no house as I stay with my parents, but all to no avail.

Op.. You're no different from my father even though I never met him since I was born till date but I've no regret about it. How could you be jobless but still having unprotected sex? If you can't afford 100 Naira Condom why having gf at the first place? Don't you know that having gf is like having a car when you know that maintaining a car is very expensive and not everyone can afford it.

My Dad rejected my pregnancy but my mum insisted never to abort me, they both went on their separate ways and today the rest is history because that rejected stone is now a corner stone.

So my advice to you is to tell your parent about it and if they support with abortion things, let your gf move on because there is no different between you and herdsmen.

You don't have to marry her because she is pregnant neither can you force her to have an abortion. However, a one month old pregnancy is still within a safe window for abortion if you go to a qualified, registered medical doctor. She won't need a D&C either, a pill or two and she will be fine. Better now than abandoning the child/giving the child out to some aunty or uncle who will abuse him or her.

Since you both are not financially ready for a child, be responsible, use protection.

And this is the only sensible advice so far. I wonder why Nigerians are so judgemental whenever they hear 'abortion'. The op is obviously incapable of taking care of himself, why not advise him to do the needful instead of bringing a child into this world to suffer.

All this parents and lazy youth are not helping matas,while in school there are people that do one or two business.Some have handwork in fashion, welding, furniture,tiling.painting and many other things,where by job or no job they got something doing.nah so so white collar everbody want do.
