A tweet by Deji Adeyanju claims that the Catholic priest who was shot today by Fulani Herdsmen during an attack on a seminary in Taraba was among those who protested last week calling President Buhari to act or resign over incessant killings perpetrated by the herdsmen. Deji Adeyanju tweeted: ”The priests just shot in Taraba by Herdsmen were the clergymen that led the last Wednesday Catholic protest calling on president Buhari to act or resign.” We earlier reported that men suspected to be Fulani herdsmen have this morning attacked a seminary in Jalingo, Tarara state. The attack leaves many of the students injured while a Catholic priest was shot on the leg. Cars parked in the seminar were destroyed during the attack. The recent development was disclosed via a WhatsApp message by the Director of Caritas Nigeria, an agency of the Catholic Church, Rev. Fr. Evaristus Bassey. Father Bassey wrote: “Please Frs, pray for us. Our minor seminary in Jalingo has just been attacked by the Fulani, some students are injured, some cars destroyed, two priests beaten and one shot on the leg. They are currently receiving treatment at FMC.” Most of the injured students are currently receiving treatment at the Federal Medical Center in Makurdi. https://www.wotzup.ng/27806-2/ CC Lalasticlala 4 Likes

Muslims, when will you people protest against the killings carried out by adherents of your religion? The people are protesting against them are now getting killed. There is a Jihad going on and the aim is to fully Isamize Nigeria. Yesterday I heard of a bill Buhari sent to senate which will ensure that all coastal line and the land close to them will be fully owned by the federal government. Who is the federal government if not Fulanis. They want to stylishly steal the oil rich region and people's ancestral lands. When will ISLAM PROTEST AGAINST KILLER HERDSMEN AND BOKO HARAM? Is the duty of Muslims only to criticize those who protest against these killings? GET YOUR PVC NOW 178 Likes 11 Shares |

The only crime they committed is that they share country with those (Hausa/Fulani) who thinks they are Lord over others. Obviously there is no country called one Nigeria its madness to ever think we can be one Nigeria. I weep for those who still believe in this evil marriage of 1914. 5 Likes 1 Share |

I know from ardent Observation that the Killings in the middle belt affecting much of the Christian folks and members of the Muslim sect, is a calculated plan to uproot a confronting force and implement an unholy agenda, which will backfire in future. I also would love to state without prejudice that our government have not done better in bringing the situation under control. Without fear of attack, I want to put it clear, that the government knows the men fanning the smoke into our eyes. Otherwise, how would they explain to us why it took fews weeks to fish out the suspected arm robbers that operated in Offa, Kwara state, but its taking months to round up these murderous and cruel herdsmen. We have lost National peace, safety, opportunities, resources and our humanity to politics, nepotism and sentiments. This is not the Nigeria we were onced proud of nor is it the country that was handed down to us by our founding fathers. Let me pause by reminding us that every action of Man is a seed sown to the universe and it must grow someday. 6 Likes 1 Share |

It would take great courage to redeem Nigeria first of all the security personnel is skewed to favour north If we think about it even boko haram that use suicide bombing techniques to fight the army are currently losing Southerners are so scared of war it might take killings in 10000s for people to understand the complexity of this land grab I understand desertification of the north shrinking of lake chad and other grazing lands maybe the cause of this issue but if fulani are sincere people their elites could have bought large grazing land up north and even down south(i know yorubas would sell if dey see money) for them to modernise to ranching instead what the fulani elites have done is to arm the poor fulanis with ak47 and instructed them to kill anyone on their path buhari Sanusi and most elite fulanis must know who armed this guys Fighting them means fighting the army so what we can just pray for his international pressure and benevolence would make some northern elite solve the problem if not southerners should be ready to bury more dead mostly ondo oyo and ekiti people our own elites have failed us 3 Likes |

alBHAGDADI:Shut ur dirty mouth. What has the killings got to do with islamizing the country. Who told u there are no christian herdsmen or fulanis... Your PVC won't change anything. There has been killings during OBJ and GEJ but ur hapless CAN didn't find it worthy of protest. The campaign of calumny against PMB on the basis of his Islamic faith will fail woefully and you will be disappointed after next year's election. With the detest actions of CAN, elections in the country will always be divisive; Muslims vote Muslim and Christians vote Christian. This is terribly bad for for country like Nigeria whose hope of becoming a developed nation has been dashed simply because of ill-fated actions of an association of rogues, ignorant and misinformed members who call their selves CAN. Finally, I feel sorry for some blind followers like you for allowing your hearts to follow the devilish wish. 1 Like |
