Hi people,

1Please is there any one who did nysc with gtbank that has been able to get a reference letter from them

Please it is urgent?

@Newmum0615

2.I also did a graduate trainee programme with a multinational but when i got the reference letter it was not useful see below.

3.My husband's eca with the redeemed bible institute didnt get a positive evaluation because wes claimed that the college is unrecognised so he is back to only bsc and he wants to apply for eor with BC.

4. I have 2 or more degrees with a good ielts score but work experience is my issue.

a. I served with gtbank during nysc( but the hr guys are proofing difficult)

b. The multinational i worked with as a graduate trainee gave me a work reference which i already posted.

c. Other places where i had worked were for 3 months, 4months.

d. My birthday is 22nd june.
e. If i have just 1year experience, my crs will be 442

Please any help or suggestions are welcome

Thanks

Hi, please see my comments below. Hope it helps!
newbie18:
Hello Everyone..
I have been a very silent follower(guest) of this thread and the information I've gotten has been so invaluable.

I missed out on the Tbill auction for yesterday, as bank didn't process it in time and I'll have to wait for the next window(2 weeks time) and for some reason, all my attempts at secondary market auction have proved futile with the bank.

Please can I go ahead and use the cash bank statement to submit my application (targeting this weekend), while waiting for the next auction.Yes you can

- would that lead to misrepresentation? No it won't or
- can I state in LOE that the cash will be turned to TBills but I couldn't wait as my ITA deadline was fast approaching? You do not have to explain. If you obtained the statement close to your date of submission, it is fine. In the event you're requested to provide an updated POF, you can easily send your updated bank statement which would show the evidence of tbill purchase, and the tbill certificate.

Will really appreciate your responses.

Good morning all.
This is just a suggestion. Please don't crucify me.
Can someone please use IQAS or ICES OR ICAS to test this ACCA, F1 - F3 matter.
I know you all are running away from the long processing time.
However, it is better to get a good evaluation in a longer time than use WES and get an unfavourable evaluation. (Lawyers who used WES for their LLB can testify).
WES and this ACCA matter is making this thread move fast. Its 217 pages already.
Have a blessed day.

Yeye, envying married people up and down! Do you know the work some of these people did to convince their spouse that Canada is the way to go or to write IELTS or the stress to provide POF for several people? Abeg go and and sleep jooooooooooo grin

I had no idea about the bolded until my cousin invited me to come help convince her husby to make the canny move. I was like you mean you couldnt? That cant be an arduous task na! Anyways, I travelled down, sat down with her husby and tabled the merits and demerits, broke down all i know about the process, settling down in canada, the opportunity cost of failing to make the move and even told him they could just shortland and keep it as a backup... He asked alot of questions, i answered and he seemed convinced. We had spent virtually the whole day on the issue but i was excited that it was an accomplished day.

Two months later we were back to square 1, he began asking the same questions all over again. It has taken us a year to get him to just sit for IELTS! Marriage calls for alot of diplomacy to get two people to sail in the same direction, not sure how I would fare at that when my time comes...

There are two types of tbills: Primary and secondary.
If you missed out on the primary auction, request for secondary. It is always available everyday, just that the rate might be a bit lower.

Another option is fixed deposit.

I am afraid I can't come up with a plausible NOC for this your Oando JD yet. I am trying to see how it matches NOC 1111. Am I missing something? The letter looks good though. What was your job role in GTB? Your NYSC experience might work if it is well defined. 442 is a pretty fine score.

The letter looks good to me. It contains all the required information, non? Maybe I'm missing something?

442 as CRS score also looks good to me at least till September when scores will start their end of year ascent. Get in the pool ASAP because of tie breaker and your birthday. Or is there also some reason I'm missing why you haven't already entered the pool? Since 442 would have long gotten you an ITA.

You can do a money market mutual funds. Stanbic IbTC and Axa Mansard have competitive rates for money matket. You should get a marginally higher rate than Tbills. however unlike tbills interest isnt discounted, rather its credited on a daily basis. You are also allowed to liquidate your investment at anytime.

To answer your question, it isnt misrepresentation if you move your cash to an investment after submitting POF. However if an ADR for POF is issued, you would need to show documents to evidence that you had the cash and simply invested it. I started out with TBills, tenor elapsed and got ADR after reinvesting it, i simply submitted bank statements highlighting the credit alert on maturity date, the debit on date of reinvestment and of course the Certificates of investments.

Interesting... When did the person register for ACCA? How long has the person been a member of ACCA? Did the person write the exams in one sitting... Just trying to figure out why the person got 1 semester..
As much information you can give would help

What was in the letter didn't match any Noc plus the year I entered, they discovered i was pregnant so i spent a month in 2011 then they told me to come back and join the next batch in 2012. You can check the letter for clarity.

I read the letter. If you've not applied yet, it's a matter of working with the info the letter has provided. According to the letter you have more than one year work experience. Keep working at finding an NOC that can work (intensify prayers so Newmum can be ministered to on the matter). And enter the pool with your 442 as soon as possible.

Just my opinion sha, the case looks simple to me. Like I said earlier maybe I'm missing some background info.

@mcstan18, I think you should have stated one semester evaluation in that enquiry you made to WES instead of one year. If that was the case, and we got that response, it would have been fine.
