Why are we not gunning for that Villa's briton midfielder called Jack Grealish if we are really looking for a playmaking no 8 to complement Pogba? He's a nutcase but quite talented. His awareness, Vision and movement are top notch for a 22yr old player. When his close control and balance are also taken into the equation, we have a complete midfielder.

Personally, he looks like a rich man Wilshere to me without Wilshere's tunnel vision and lack of productivity. He was the best midfielder in the championship after coming back from his injury in the second half of the season and the best player during his team playoff against Fulham. Shout out to Maddison and Ruben Neves but Grealish was better for me as a proper CM.

I don't even know why some coaches love wasting money. Get in quality young players at suitable money and get values for your investment. If I were Mourinho, I would just go for De Ligt as one of the Cb duo, Van de beek as the deeplying playmaking no 6, Grealish as a no 8, Maddison as a LW/RW/in the midfield and forget about the transfer window. These players at the real deal for me. Their techniques and awareness are better than whatever idiots we have in the team right now and to me, these 2 attributes are the best to look out for in any player apart from what they offer in their roles.. Another bonus is they are all good goalscorers and 2 of them are even British which means we won't have them being enticed by all those Spanish merchant Mofos. The dutch players are hardly wankers as well.

De Ligt is Netherland's first choice centre back ranking above Liverpool's Van Djik in the pecking order. He's also his team's captain at Ajax yet you think he needed to be loaned out if signed to a top club?

What I love most about him is his ability to organise the defence and reads the game even at a young age. He doesn't even need to do much tackling 'cos he's always in the right place at the right time. His passing skill is an added bonus. What more? He's fantastic in the air too. A total package.
