Edit: Most important lesson.

If you have natural hard kinky hair like mine, which can't even take an afro-comb when dry, style while washing. I can use a jolly comb on mine once I soap it. Then after combing to desired style, tying and rinsing, I use a blow dry.

I've seen people using gel on you tube videos too. I'll report back once I try that.

relaxed hair doesn't lock. It will still fall off. Grow your natural hair out first then go ahead with locking
