I must confess, this is a dumb initiative. I wasn't politically conscious at the time, but I'm sure as hell, if buhari tries this initiative now, I'd lambast and mock him. Don't really know what is wrong with our politicians. They just can't seem to have bright ideas.

Stove Kwa, for what? and what gains will it have on the economy to warrant such huge amount? and be conceived in the fec of all places. not even NGO. Chai this is dumb dumb dumb.

700k was delivered out of 20million. That's less than 5% of the contractual agreement. Jonathan presided over the FEC meeting that awarded the contract. He ordered the ministry of finance to release N5billion for the project. He should have put in place mechanism to ensure that the program was fully delivered and implemented as approved.

Maybe if PMB had been reading newspapers he'd Av known about it

But since he knows absolutely NOTHING....

Why is it that the stoves were found when campaigns are gradually starting

You guys need something smarter, not this baseless rebuttals

Or was there no proper handover from Gej's minisitries to PMB's?

If less than 5% was delivered, PMB should have ordered for the remaining deliveries..... Or cos it's not like the Abuja metro line that can be commisioned?

Tell Buhari to get to work and stop blaming, he has a lot to do, if the Job is too difficult and overwhelming, he should quietly resign, he was not elected to start reminding us of Jonathan's blunders.

Actually, I voted him to reveal everything.

You didn't vote him so stop telling us that did what he should be doing.

The scam was perpetrated in 2014 when preparations were already in top gear for the election. It is save to assume that the funds for the contract was diverted to fund Jonathan's campaign. If Buhari goes after those that perpetrated the scam, it will lead to the arrest and prosecution of PDP members and Jonathan himself. Thereafter, hero worshipers like you will start shouting witch hunt and persecution of opposition members.
what stopped Buhari from doing so? is he afraid being accused of fighting the opposition?or is it because his APC members who were formerly in PDP are involved?

It's good to know that some people can still say the truth no matter how bitter.
PMB has a lot of flaws, but he is far better than the former guy. Although, Some of us benefited from his presidency, deep down we know that he was a big flop.
It saddens me to see people who did not benefit from him being at the forefront of his support team.

This post is very much underrated! Buhari’s display of errors, incompetences and inefficiencies has made people forget that GEJ was actually tagged the sobriquet “Inefficient Buffoon”. To be honest, if GEJ was re-elected, the economy of this country would have been worse. Those people were looting right, left and centre.
I can say it anywhere, GEJ is not better than Buhari.

The major reason Buhari is being criticized is the same reason Fayemi isn’t wanted in Ekiti - limited “flow/circulation of stolen funds”. Although, this doesn’t make Buhari/Fayemi saints. They are all thieves.

Just as Falz rightly said, this is Nigeria and everybody is a criminal!

May God help us!

Tell Buhari to get to work and stop blaming, he has a lot to do, if the Job is too difficult and overwhelming, he should quietly resign, he was not elected to start reminding us of Jonathan's blunders.

How come you suddenly went dumb on your propaganda of fastest growing economy when Sirjamo gave you the real situation that Buhari met on ground?

Was it not this same fastest growing economy and largest in Africa, that Jonathan spokesman Doyin Okupe defended that we have to buy 2nd hand train because we are not America? Meanwhile SouthAfrica that we displaced by re-basing technique, do not buy 2nd hand trains. While we spent more than the funds that could have bought us brand new trains, to equip ATM Dasuki that does not require debit card to dispense public funds to PDP reelection campaign.

Was it not this same fastest growing economy that had already borrowed N470B to pay federal civil servants for Feb/March/April salaries as at start of May 2015 when crude oil was still selling above $50/barrel?

Was it not this same fastest growing economy that suddenly had its Naira currency fall from N160 to N240 versus the dollar as at February 2015, before it then appreciated back to N220 versus the dollar as at May 29th handover?

Did you expect the Naira currency slump not to continue as the international oil price eventually slumped to $27/barrel during the 1st year of the Buhari regime?

Do you expect an economy that was destroyed and on the road to recession, to suddenly come alive overnight even when its greatest resource kept on falling in price before the current positive outlook of the past year?

The fastest growing economy that did not save a kobo beyond what it had already inherited from previous governments, but rather went on a spending spree to erase all savings and butcher its foreign reserves from $47b to $29+b. A spending spree that did not diversify the economy or develop any significant infrastructure. A spending spree that did not even pay up its own share of counterpart funding for JV oil projects that amounted to over $5b within the same period of fastest growing economy and oil price selling above $100/barrel for about 4years out of the wasted 5years.

I blame Buhari for many things, but I will never blame him for the economy because I know who bastardized it before he was sacked.

Part of what I blame Buhari for is why that enemy of the state Jonathan is not counting the years in Kuje prison already.
