As a president, grappling with recession brought about by massive looting, low oil revenue, depleted reserves and stagnant economy couple with Boko Haram and killer herdsmen plus fighting corruption, it is some abandoned stoves that he should be concerned about! That is why I tagged you people Robots, you never think.

The last time I checked, a robot is economically and technologically viable than a zombie which is a parasite.

I am glad you know your place in the scheme of things

700k was delivered out of 20million. That's less than 5% of the contractual agreement. Jonathan presided over the FEC meeting that awarded the contract. He ordered the ministry of finance to release N5billion for the project. He should have put in place mechanism to ensure that the program was fully delivered and implemented as approved.
What about Buhari who is the current minister of petroleum and trillions of naira is being paid as subsidy yet Buhari is not aware that subsidy is being paid. How are we sure those trilions are not going into private pockets. Still, Nigerians are buying fuel at N145/litre, about 60% increase above GEJ N87/litre.

During the GEJ era, I happen to visit Abuja a dozen times to get part of my money and getting a hotel room in Abuja was insane. From Transcorp to any three stars hotels, everywhere is reserved for VIP. Sirens will be heard everywhere and there was so much stolen money in circulation. Abuja became the circus where money is been tossed around mindlessly. To be candid I hate Buhari because he has stopped that flow of money, and he's pursued all my rich politician clients to I supply for out of the country but the truth that I know deep down is if GEJ had won a 2nd term, most Nigerians will be queuing for bread and beans on the road by now as there was this insane looting. Imagine a former level five project manager in the NDCC buying two houses in Banana Island!!! Imagine a Freshly recruited Navy personally buying a whole building in Gwarimpa and boasting that the oil bunkering militants have made him very rich!!! Imagine a prostitute I used to patronize in Lagos for 5k per night landing in Abuja and getting $1000 for a bj inside an Alhajis keep. I swear no nation can ever continue the way it was under GEJ without been ruined. I just wish this Buhari monkey could fix security. N9.2 billion stoves and you are not worried. The only thing you are interested is for the stoves to be shared, and of course why should the government expose and blame those that committed the crime. Tomorrow you will be among those shouting for a better Nigeria whereas you are not even sure of what you want.

That is the problem of this country ... There is nothing like continuity . If GEJ released the fund around 2015, I m sure that he might not be able to see delivered because of elections. In this case, we should blame the contractor for trying to take advantage of the discontinuity in doing away with the money. Buhari must do something about this and stop blaming GEJ

I agree with u to an extent. Jonathan lost his ethical compass and threw the country to the dogs and sadly no govt institutions like effcc cud curtail the excesses. Buhari came in to stop all that bt has very bad policies that's making the suffering greater than it shud be even with after effects of Gej misappropriations. As far as I know, these stoves has been allocated for each of the federation. Each state has the responsbility of ensuring logistics of their share to their state.

I am aware that my state of residence just go get theirs around Feb/March this year.

9.2billion for stoves?

Are those really stoves or bricks?

They were called halogen stoves or something like that, purchased barely two weeks before Jonathan and Sambo stepped down. It was a last minute avenue to loot, those things looked ridiculous.

I dug up a 2015 thread about those stoves kept in exact place 3 years ago. PDP people what say you?

Don't mind the ignoramus.. There's nothing he mentioned that hasn't happened under every single administration including the current one. It's just a different set of players and beneficiaries everytime.

People are still buying properties home and abroad as we speak. People are still wasting big money on a few lucky hoes. Corruption is still as prevalent as it ever was, of not more now.

The only difference is that we have a hypocritical party and government in power, who prefer to corner everything to themselves and watch others starve to death...theres no longer a redistribution of wealth like before. That's why the economy has been comatose since this he goat called Buhari was sworn in.

Throwback:

How come you suddenly went dumb on your propaganda of fastest growing economy when Sirjamo gave you the real situation that Buhari met on ground?

Was it not this same fastest growing economy and largest in Africa, that Jonathan spokesman Doyin Okupe defended that we have to buy 2nd hand train because we are not America? Meanwhile SouthAfrica that we displaced by re-basing technique, do not buy 2nd hand trains. While we spent more than the funds that could have bought us brand new trains, to equip ATM Dasuki that does not require debit card to dispense public funds to PDP reelection campaign.

Was it not this same fastest growing economy that had already borrowed N470B to pay federal civil servants for Feb/March/April salaries as at start of May 2015 when crude oil was still selling above $50/barrel?

Was it not this same fastest growing economy that suddenly had its Naira currency fall from N160 to N240 versus the dollar as at February 2015, before it then appreciated back to N220 versus the dollar as at May 29th handover?

Did you expect the Naira currency slump not to continue as the international oil price eventually slumped to $27/barrel during the 1st year of the Buhari regime?

Do you expect an economy that was destroyed and on the road to recession, to suddenly come alive overnight even when its greatest resource kept on falling in price before the current positive outlook of the past year?

The fastest growing economy that did not save a kobo beyond what it had already inherited from previous governments, but rather went on a spending spree to erase all savings and butcher its foreign reserves from $47b to $29+b. A spending spree that did not diversify the economy or develop any significant infrastructure. A spending spree that did not even pay up its own share of counterpart funding for JV oil projects that amounted to over $5b within the same period of fastest growing economy and oil price selling above $100/barrel for about 4years out of the wasted 5years.

I blame Buhari for many things, but I will never blame him for the economy because I know who bastardized it before he was sacked.

Part of what I blame Buhari for is why that enemy of the state Jonathan is not counting the years in Kuje prison already.
if your president couldn't handle the economy why then did he become the president in the first place? Former united states president Barack Obama inherited the worst recession in Americas history since the end of the WWII and yet he managed to get America out without laying a single blame on his predecessor president bush Jr why? Because he studied Americas economy and came up with a blueprint that would save the country! Did your PMB have any blueprint to save Nigeria before he won? The answer is capital No because he has nothing upstairs, and thanks but no thanks to the morons that voted him thinking that he would definitely deliver Nigeria outta this mess only for him to put us in a far greater mess all because of bigotry, tribalism, nepotism etc. A person that divided Nigeria into 97 and 5 percentage is that person supposed to be anywhere in the corridors of power, my greatest shock is that the self acclaimed learned ones that gave PMB the highest have now turned around to regret this government, so much for living in a hellhole like Nigeria. Ex Jonathan is not perfect, but at least he was a statesman, PMB has nothing to offer! And I blame him even the more about our current state of Economy because he never acted or had any plan at all to save it!!!

You can't use blame to win the presidential election. In the corporate organisations, only a person who is ready to lose his or her job would keep giving flimsy excuses for a bad job done by those who were there before then rather than looking for quick solutions. We've been hearing excuses upon excuses since the inception of this administration.
