FYI, 24 states couldn't pay salaries not cos those states didn't receive salary allocations but cos their respective governors embezzled... .....
I'm not saying GEJ issa saint but bulk of people who pledged their votes for PMB wanted to fix the lapses of GEJ's administration. 3 years into PMB's tenure nothing has really been done.
You're a liar. There was short fall of allocation to all states. A state collecting 3B were receiving 1.2 or 1.3B and so on. It was also on record that his govt have started borrowing to meet overhead payment of staff. It was also on record that many govt parastatal could not pay their staff until Buhari came to upset the backlog. Your support for bad thing has brought us thus far.

Its littered everywhere. How he handled niger delta cris dipped ur into recession we are only out of the woods cos of good oil prices now.

His demarketing the country internationally by his comments has only driven wud be investors. Nigeria is no longer attractive.

The private sector is weak due to these policies.

No functioning and effective cabinet. Nothing innovative has been done to turn arrnd economy or even show hope of a positive economic growth cos we don't know wat he will do next. Very unpredictable and unwise policies.

Im sure ur in the country so u can see things for urself. People are leaving the country becos of economic hardship generally and no real glimpse of hope.

He has ONLY reduced Corruption bt that's not good enough for a country in our present crucial state.

I am happy you were able to mention all that. But I must say you mentioned the direct opposit of the reality on ground. For instance, the issue of Niger delta is one of the areas the government has done very well. Immediately they came to power, the Avengers started avenging the lost of their brother Jonathan By blowing the pipelines. The government studied and arrested the situation. That is why For over a year now, you don't hear sporadic bombing of pipelines. What did the government do? they released money for the take off of the maritime university okerenkonko delta state, which is one of the things they asked for. They improved the amnesty package by increasing the budgetary allocation to the scheme. The ogoni oil spill which is being cleaned up is also one of the major factors that arrested the restiveness in the region. Then very importantly, the government took other developmental issues seriously like never before. All the major roads in the region are now receiving serious attention like never before.
Secondly, investment inflow in the country I must say you don't have the current information. The first quarter of this year, the country had above 25 billion dollars investment inflow, which is higher than many previous quarters. In fact, the economy has received major reforms like; the ease of doing business policy, the VAIDS, economic recovery growth plan, TSA, the anchor borrowers program, whistle blowing policy in the fight against corruption etc. In fact, are you aware that world bank just last month ranked Nigeria as one of the ten best reforming economies in the world? are you aware that the policy of the government has led to the increase we are having in our foreign reserve? And this is happening at a time the income to the treasury is very small to compare to the recent past.
As for people traveling outside the country, that one is an age long issue and has nothing to do with buhari. Do you think that the Libyan returnees just traveled during this regime? No. Like wise many others.
The issue of cabinet ministers is just a statement that people keep making and many seem to adopt it without making constructive criticism of that. This cabinet is working and have worked better than those who claimed to have had PhDs, schooled in Harvard, have the best experience and exposure etc. At the end where did they leave the economy? Of course you know where we are coming from.

EFCC should go after anybody that looted our funds and prosecute all to a conclusive end, not the one the president used his prerogative to choose.

if your president couldn't handle the economy why then did he become the president in the first place? Former united states president Barack Obama inherited the worst recession in Americas history since the end of the WWII and yet he managed to get America out without laying a single blame on his predecessor president bush Jr why? Because he studied Americas economy and came up with a blueprint that would save the country! Did your PMB have any blueprint to save Nigeria before he won? The answer is capital No because he has nothing upstairs, and thanks but no thanks to the morons that voted him thinking that he would definitely deliver Nigeria outta this mess only for him to put us in a far greater mess all because of bigotry, tribalism, nepotism etc. A person that divided Nigeria into 97 and 5 percentage is that person supposed to be anywhere in the corridors of power, my greatest shock is that the self acclaimed learned ones that gave PMB the highest have now turned around to regret this government, so much for living in a hellhole like Nigeria. Ex Jonathan is not perfect, but at least he was a statesman, PMB has nothing to offer! And I blame him even the more about our current state of Economy because he never acted or had any plan at all to save it!!!

Those things that looks like bricks are actually gas cylinders. The initiative was to provide 20million clean stoves for rural women. The contract was awarded for N9.2billion while N5billion was released by the ministry of finance for the project. Around 700,000 stoves was however delivered and abandoned inside the velodrome of the Abuja stadium. Nobody has been made to account for that scam till date.

But was it really a bad move by GEJ's administration? Mind you, Buhari is championing payment of 5K to the poor and feeding of school children which will cost several billions annually, and everybody is praising him for that.

So you want Buhari to pay the balance of N7.8 billion for useless stoves contract awarded last minute by your hero, and then distribute it to people that voted for him (some would say the 97%).
If he actually does, it is you people that would break the social media with curses, insults and abuses.

I did not say that, please can't you people think?
I said he should probe the contract, then distribute the stoves so that it does not waste since those ones has been bought, probe and prosecute those indicted simple.

If Buhari goes after those that perpetrated the scam, it will lead to the arrest and prosecution of PDP members and Jonathan himself. Thereafter, hero worshipers like you will start shouting witch hunt and persecution of opposition members.

You people are funny, what has blame solved for us in this country, ever since Buhari came in he has been blaming yet things keep getting worse.
Governance is not about blaming and propaganda, it's serious business for serious minded people.
It was abandoned for five years and Buhari was elected to correct the anomalies on ground, yet he came in and continued with the abandonment. He has done three years of the abandonement.
If Buhari is not aware of the scam and you are aware, then he has no business in Aso rock.
GOOD POINT ! Now how about this for common sense , you as the head of a family of say, six makes $118 per hour (then oil price per barrel)in your own firm aside the fact you inherited let's say about $35 m(about $35 b foreign reserve) in cash when you took over said firm ,do you (A) ; start lavish spending on your families , close pals together with your other cronies , after all business is booming for your rich company Or , (B) do you spend frugally like the educated , upright fella that we thought you were when stakeholders ( nigerians) entrusted you with the leadership of the firm ? The aftermath ? The company appointed a new head after about six years and it co-incided with when the price of the product of the firm has dropped to $ 35 and lately $50 worldwide from $ 118 and the new man at the helm could easily see that former management left little to nothing for the rainy day including the million in dollars they met at the firm .so now families and society used to the departed management frivolous lifestyle when $ 118 /hr income was coming in are groaning and blaming the new head 'cos the former lifestyle it goes without saying is no longer sustenable at $50 / barrel ! , 'zombies ' will be excused for the inability to comprehend this long epistle , but you don't have to be an einstein either to know the root cause of our country's predicament didn't start three years ago neither is the solution occuring in three years . By the way if your answer to the quiz asked earlier in the writeup is option (B) , then congrats , i must say , YOU ARE NOT GOODLUCK JONATHAN !

Here is my question to u brother. If u were in Buhari's position (president), how will u fix Nigeria? Baring in my mind obstacles from every angle i.e, senate, judiciary, friends and foes, and last but not least the Nigerian people themselves. The next issue is, if Buhari can't do it, then who? from the current set of leaders we have
The major solution to the our problem in Nigeria is to flush the whole political system from the Senate down. Nigeria needs to stop recycling senators and house of reps members..
Reduce the cost of running the government so that it wouldn't be attractive to persons whose interest is to make away with public money..
Tinubu, Obj and all other former heads of state should hands off government, they are no longer needed. Pmb should stop the blame game and seek solutions..
Finally the government should always bear in mind that Nigeria is a secular state, it belongs to all of us (Igbo, Yoruba and Hausa/Fulani). Pmb isn't making attempts to bring us together, Nigeria has never been this torn apart since I was born and it's painful cry

700k was delivered out of 20million. That's less than 5% of the contractual agreement. Jonathan presided over the FEC meeting that awarded the contract. He ordered the ministry of finance to release N5billion for the project. He should have put in place mechanism to ensure that the program was fully delivered and implemented as approved.

It is like every other abandoned GEJ program. He is scammed just like they scammed him on the Almajiri project. Later wai lers will start shouting that it was initiated by GEJ. Which one is completed by GEJ?

You blame Buhari for a scam contract signed by Jonathan? Anyway no surprise here, you guys started blaming Buhari even before he was sworn into office.
You want Buhari to leave all the thousands of important problems besetting Nigeria at the moment and inaugurate a committee to ascertain the state of the stoves and distribute 200,000 stoves freely within all the 744 local governments in Nigeria.
Are you aware that the stoves have been lying there for 3 years, so rust and degradation would have affected the stoves. The committee would then restore the stoves before transporting and distributing them.

Now imagine the cost of all theses including the cost of paying and accommodating the committee before we even go into the logistics.

I was informed the stoves run on gas, how are rural women going to obtain gas to run the stoves?

My brother you are making valid points, no doubt you know the situation on ground that is why You sound very coherently and I respect you for that.
Where we are departing is at the point attributing that the government is not working or making progress. Like the issue of Niger delta you have agreed that the government has resolved but With a caviet that it was osibanjo that resolved it, whether him or buhari, history will record it to buhari's regime and not the other way round. Again, the same osibanjo is still one of the cabinet you wrote off. You know he is the one playing the role Okonjo Iweala played in the last regime, which is cordinating the economic matters of the country.
As for cabals you mentioned, I must agree with you because the signs are there. But I contend that it is not as being exaggerated. I also agree that buhari needs a win win approach to governance involving the national assembly more often than the seemingly opposition they are playing against each other.
Please let us sign off on this matter.
Its been nice reasoning with you.
