Governor Udom Emmanuel, the Executive Governor of Akwa Ibom state was sworn in on May 29, 2015 with high expectation from the people of the state owing to the impressive performance of predecessor Obong Godswill Akpabio who said that he wants to be remembered for the success of his preferred successor, Udom.

Three years down the line, Udom has surpassed the expectations by developing every nooks and crannies of the 31 LGAs that makes up the state.

This thread is not for stories but strictly for pictures of the performance of Udom.

The Governor has given Akwa Ibom state the largest Syringe factory in Africa with capacity to produce 400 million syringe annually (and with plans to double it this year) far outweighing SA's company that produces 98 million annually. Do you know how many people have gotten jobs directly with the factory and those indirect jobs/side business?

What about the Metering Company that is unprecedented and the Fertilizer Company?

Bros, when it cines to human development and REAL/SUSTAINABLE job creation no Governor will come close to Udom despite only staying 3 years.

As per resources, Udom get the least resources of all Governors since 1999.

I don't like to compare but NO Governor can rival Udom in sustainable social development, agriculture and industrialisation.

The Syringe Factory, Pencil factory, Metering company, Fertilizer Blending factory etc are pointers to this. Since Udom took over Akwa Ibom state has been adjudged by National Bureau of Statistics as the second with highest foreign direct investment.

Meanwhile, I'll try to keep updating this page with all Udom's achievement in ALL 31 LGAs in pictures.

I ask this question yesterday on udom media chat on twitter, what's the government doing to attract investors to the state, I'm not in Akwa ibom state but I have friends and cousins there, no job everywhere, even the ones you get is nothing to write home about.

You aren't in Akwa Ibom shows that you aren't in touch with the happenings in the state.

You talked of jobs, what do you think the Syringe Factory, Metering company, Pencil company, fertilizer blending factory and others will do? Is it Americans or Chinese that are working there? The side industries that springs up nko?

As for foreign investors, Akwa Ibom state is the second largest in terms of Foreign Direct investment in Nigeria since Udom took over. Was it not foreign investors that brought the billions to invest in the Syringe Factory, Metering Company and others?

Please, let's be factual!

What he is currently doing is encouraging no matter how 'little' some may think. I believe that what Udom is currently doing is laying the ground for sustainable development. The hatchery was envisaged since the time of Akpan Isemin as i heared. Plans are on for a dairy farm, coconut plantation, a metering industry, etc. If Akwa ibom will continue like this in the medium term the bigger industries will start arriving.

My problem with the governor is that i hear he's owing pensioners. Nothing annoys me like that.when people die because they couldn't receive their small pensions to take care of themselves it's disheartening.

I hear the armed robbery and kidnapping there now is unprecedented onto a whole new level
