Abuja —The Police said, yesterday, that 48 hours after the Offa bank robbery that claimed the lives of over 30 persons, including nine policemen, four of the gang leaders accompanied the Senate President, Dr Bukola Saraki, to the palace of the Olofa of Offa, Oba Muftau Gbadamosi Esuwoye, to sympathise with him.
They also said it was necessary for the Senate President to explain why he purchased prohibited arms for the suspects, insisting he had a case to answer.

A source at the SARS office in Abuja, told Vanguard, yesterday, that contrary to widely publicized report, which indicated that Saraki was invited because of his role in the robbery attack, the Senate President was only invited to explain why he allegedly purchased illegal and prohibited weapons used to kill innocent and law-abiding people.

According to the source, “it is an offence to purchase prohibited weapons for criminals in whatever guise, be it thuggery or whatever you call it.

“For your information, 48 hours after the Offa armed robbery operation and killings, the four gang leaders of the group that perpetrated the devilish act, accompanied the delegation of the Senate President to visit the Olofa of Offa to console with him over the killings.”
The source disclosed that Police investigators during interrogation of the suspects also discovered that one of the gang leaders was putting on the same ankara clothing specially invited guests wore on the day of Bukola Saraki’s daughter’s wedding in Kwara State.
“So from these and other discoveries, there is really the need for the Senate President to explain these links. Nobody is saying otherwise,’’ the source added.

From this report, without bias mind, you will accept that truly Saraki need to be humble and honor the Police invitation.

Nonsense reportage ...can a popular political figure curtail the number of political beggars and hanger on that follow his itinerary up and down .. can all those hopeless urchins that follow Tinubus motorcade up and down Lagos and even campnoutside his Bourdillion home all day when he is around be said to have been accompaniments of Tinubu? What weapons is the shallow police talking of when the gang leader explicitly said the robbery was concocted by a dismissed SARs police man named Micheal Idikwu who also brought the 5 assault rifles that was used for the robbery..... since the planner and amourer of the offa robbery is a policeman can we also say that an IG boy carried out the robbery

All these allegations does not hold water...
Can we also deduce from the attached picture Osibanjo should account for the multitude behind him as one of them is a killer in Benue saga?

-All the aseobi Nigerians sell pre weddings to all sorts of tom, dick and harry, are they supposed to account for the beheavior of each and everyone of them?

-Saraki is a popular person and obviously aseobi's must have been made in various divides and groups while shared or even sold without his notice or consent.

-From the transcript of the rogues, they never alleged saraki gave them weapons, how did this come in?

-Obviously popular Saraki was going to the king's palace to sympathize with the Olofa, do you expect him to know who is who in the multitude of crowd as entourage behind him? People who he may have impacted in their various lives one way or the other.

We are hearing all this cause of the troubled relationship between the Senate and presidency. If truly the police is effective let them begin to unravel all past political assisinations.
As at last check Nigeria is one country you can get away with any lawless act even if it involves killings if you are rightly connected to the powers in authority.

I will advise you hold on over Tinubu's area boys till anyone of them was caught for robbery and if you have any concentrate evidence against Jagaban or any of his boys, Nigeria Police headquarter is open.

Who said Saraki sent them for the robbery? Well, I think it's very simple, walk to any Nigeria Police Station and claim the ownership of the arms used in killing over 30 innocent souls at the Offa Bank robbery, I think this will help Saraki out.
