Hello Seniors,

I just checked my CIC account now, and found out that "They're currently reviewing my eligibility", and Background check also under review.

Does that mean one may not necessarily receive email update when they start eligibility reviews? Because I didn't get any email to that effect.

U r lucky.. I believe some applied april and still nothing yet..

leonard20147,

Going for graphics design as your proposed program shows a career progression for you. You have no problem whatsoever. When applying for your visa, endeavor to include all documents to evident your current employment situation.

All the best!

Please what is the total cost for online study visa application with a Zenith/First bank debit card as advised. And does uploading of all documents comes first before payment. Pls kindly advise if upfront medicals is advisible
alftdbts,

First bank master card will work perfectly, the total cost is between the sum of 66270-68000. Yes uploading documents comes first before completing payment. Upfront medicals is not compulsory, most applicants go for this due to the time factor, because it speeds up visa application processing.

All the best!

I applied April 13th yet nothing yet apart from Biometrics showing "Completed". I think these VOs give more priority to paper route than online application which implies they encourage Nigerians to apply via paper route in this technological age.
Also, it depends on the VO handling one's case. Eventhough mine takes 6 months as long as the final decision reads 'APPROVED'.

Good morning guys ,
I have an issue with the study permit form

This is what I did as I want to apply online

I just made an additional soft copy of the page 3 employment page of the form to complete my previous employment.

But I want to know how do I merge them as the apps I am using are not responding?

Am a bit not clear,

IMM 5707 form (family information form) , this form does not give space to fill siblings information , that is the brothers and sisters of the principal applicant .

I want ask people who has filled recently may be this is a place for siblings or it has been cancelled.

The IMM 5409 (common law statutory declaration form) after filling, how do I do about it, should I take for notarize?

Thanks

Guru should correct me if am wrong. Common Law declaration will not be applicable except you are living with a person who you are not legally married to. Please check the instruction and the meaning of common law partner.

Visa denied! I need to reapply!

I don't have a travel history. I submitted financials in excess of the school's amount, drafted a good SOP, submitted all the IMM forms, did upfront medicals, submitted landed documents in my name. How do I tackle this please?

Applied for a one year Masters of Public health at University of Western Ontario. I had some huge funds hit my account at around the time I applied because I sell cars on side and I failed to include a letter of explanation for the source of funds!

Upfront medicals depends on an applicant. If the applicant feels his or her resumption date is close to the time of the application submission, then an upfront medical comes in, but it doesn't mean an automatic Visa cos the VOs checks for other criterials from ur application. Buh if you convince the VO in other areas of ur application, they won't need to send u a medical mail when its time for ur medical check, cos the hospital/Clinic would have sent them a report of ur result ND also they will give you a copy which u will attach with ur application. So when you do an upfront medical, they won't request for another medical, so far u did ur medicals in one of their registered hospital.
Thanks for clarifying me.
