If i were you i would make sure she understands or at least responds to why i cannot turn due to Lastma and Police wahala and at worst i would turn back once i got to Iganmu bridge or park somewhere safe till she responds. Now she gave u bad rating but more annoying the usual taxify hiccup of wrong fare.i no understand how una dey enjoy this taxify walahi...
She said if I get to igamu then turning back to festac that she's going to get to work late, that I should turn were I was. Believe Me she was just being dramatic and ridiculous.
See some of this riders can be damn wicked, once had somebody telling me to beat ojudu traffic light, lasma hottest zone, I bluntly told him I can't, probably his one of there agent looking for who to set up. This is Nigeria

I remember the engine capacity of my highlander was in the range of 3.5 litres.
I'm sure I wasn't making as much as other drivers on the platform, bases on fuel calculations. But I was making enough to make me happy.
Every time I pulled up, riders somehow always just thought they were going to be paying extra money.
My point is, if it is your car, and maybe it's the only option.
You will make money if you plan on driving it yourself.
But it is a no no if you plan on renting it out.
Okay thanks.

Bros, thats not the ideal way to go about it..if the guy was arrested as a result of making a u-turn on the highway to please her. The rider that claimed she was dieing will be the first to get down from the car, book another ride and leave the guy to sort out himself from the mess..though, ifyeez should not have driven that far to oniru ..but I dont support violating law because of riders oooo

It s not every driver that is bad, we can still have some good one sir.
agborichard:

Bayo is not his monika, i gave him my 06 tokumbo camry on HP (N35k) weekly without any deposit. after 2 week he came up with stories of hw he can be paying 30k because of family issues, i told him to continue with 30k for 3mnths in other for him to to sort wat ever family issues he has and then go back to the agreed 35k after 3mnth. but wen it was time to strt 35k payment, he came with more family issues and i got tired and called for a meeting with him and my lawyer (meanwhile he carried forward 3weeks payment within that 3mnths he was paying 30k). after the meeting, we agreed 30k but he must make sure he doesnt not skip any week payment.

Before we left he told me he wanted to travel for 1week and he doesnt have somebody to secure the car with and as such he will like to park the car in my compound, and he explained to me that he will change the 2 damaged frnt tyre, spare tyre and the side mirror when he comes back because he was gng for an installation, only for him to call my lawyer after 2 days that the contract did go as plan and he wants to quite uber.

3 tyres are completely damaged, front shocks are gone, front and back bumper dented, passenger side mirror is damage, i am yet to ascertain other parts of the car because i traveled the following day he dropped the car. I have called my lawyer we are going to gt him arrested and also move against his guarantors because we agreed that his guarantor will be held responsible for any damaged caused by him that can not be taken care of by the insurance coy

Its painful because i knw he will still get a vehicle here on this platform..

Instead of starting by 6am, start by 5:20, set your uber destination to Ajah (though it doesn't work at times). The trip will take you to island, lekki, etc.
If your trip is to VI, kindly find your way towards lekki or Four points (yellow taxi people no go allow you park sha ). VI is work area, target residential areas from 5am to 10am. From 10am, target freedom way lekki, VFS office is sure banker. , Chevron axis is also great, but mind your car.

In the afternoons, target VI, Awolowo road Falomo etc.
I set mine to sangotedo, I have long throat grin

The ideal way is for drivers to pay rental on Day 1 of the week. And renew subsequently.

But most e-hailing cars are dead and nonsense.

For instance a driver pays rental and few days later, car develops an issue, its his loss..

All these car owners shouting #assurance, don't have #assured cars. Yes I said it. Your cars are dead. Quote me.

I will pay rental on day1 and renew subsequently for any tokunbo car in pristine condition.

But a Nigerian used car, previously driven on Uber/taxify, I will pass over.

Driver-partners, ensure to test the car like u are buying a car, before you pay #assurance.

Ask them why the previous driver dropped the car, even request for the ex-drivers number to ascertain what you are jumping into.

Most of these car-owners are liars. Quote me.

In, all, there are very few good men "car-owners, and partner-drivers alike"

P.S, I have ZERO tolerance for driver default.
