brodalokie:Lmao! don't throw your Jewish mythology at me bro. I'm allergic to bullshit! Even the Jews themselves who's ancestors lived and reportedly interacted with this so-called saviour of yours don't believe he's the saviour but a Nigerian like you who's ancestors had no idea what was happening in ancient Israel read a book and concluded the Jews are wrong. you must know Trump more than the Americans cuz you read newspapers |

One thing I am very sure of is this,if this religion is the one actually practiced in Nigeria, this country will be a better place.Although I will say this, the English were thorough when they destroyed our basic religion. |

TemmyTee82:Hahaha. I don't think so. He is very disciplined, obstinate and hardworking person. He is not omnipresent but yet he has to roam to and fro looking for jobs. Maybe last last he gets lucky and reap a soul (maybe many) to the other side (hell). You call that lazy? |

TemmyTee82:Point of correction. His guardian was a carpenter. I think you're working for Esu. That's ok but you know that Jesus is God right? |

Kowor:Esu is my family Deity...Another name for him Elegbara. He is different from Satan. Its a god of Mischief... We have its shrine in my family house in the village. The shrine is made of one black stone. And its always hot 24 7...and it must not be hot to stage where smoke start coming out before we pour red oil. And the stone breath as if there is human heart in it. That stone cemented my faith in Jehovah...I laugh those stupid atheist when I see them. They are void of knowledge of this world. He is not as powerful as Satan. |

hopefulLandlord:I have read it. The Esu is the same person as Lucifer but the ancient Sumerian pagan religion is what I would rather look at if I want to discuss pagan intelligence. Esu is the gateway keeper between realms. He has worshippers and priests that performs his rituals or rites. What do you have to say about Esu in your own words? |
| Re: Santeria: A Religion From Yoruba Practiced In North Caribbean, USA, Mexico by hopefulLandlord: 1:05pm On Jun 07, 2018 |
brodalokie:I doubt you read it cuz if you did you wouldn't have said "Esu is the same person as Lucifer" |

hopefulLandlord:He is. Mischievous, Giver of wealth, controls the empires of the world etc etc Did I missed something? 8 Again, the devil took Him up on an exceedingly high mountain, and showed Him all the kingdoms of the world and their glory. 9 And he said to Him, “All these things I will give You if You will fall down and worship me.” Just tell me what you know about the goat in your own words. Express yourself. Feel free The picture below tells you what the Northern Europe call Esu, Yule-Goat. You can see, he comes bearing gifts... The color of the light of the lamp is pale-yellow, that is the color of the reaper (gateway keeper)

Have you not heard of that Calabar houseboy who went to the cinema. Looked upon the rays of light blasting from the wall and thought to himself 'wow what a beautiful light, this is what a movie @ the theatre is like!' Not until a kind sir pointed to the screen did he see the full picture (and what a glorious sight!). Again I've seen beams but the full picture is Jesus. I maintain that anyone who looks at any religion and says there's no truth in it hasn't really understood it. But then I tell you, there's only one place where God's self disclosure is complete. And Jesus answered, “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me" And if you need some objective reference to ponder this truth claim, know ye that the odds that one man fulfilled all the eight prophecies done by Christ Jesus is 10 billion quintillion (10^28) (Dr. Peter Sterner, author 'Science Speaks' retrieved from http://www.goodnewsdispatch.org/math.html). But it is not on that I wish to dwell, it is the Power, Love and Self-control that the spirit of God himself bequeaths those who are his sons and daughters (2 Tim. 1:7). Finally (on account of the selfless work of Christian missionaries in our world especially war-torn Sudan) I haven't seen a system of do's and don'ts that removes the evil in the heart. Only the Spirit of God changes the heart and mind of a man -+- "the Lord is the Spirit, and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom." Ekitimadman: |

Jonra:tell us how he looks like then compare your knowledge of how he looks like with that of fellow believers that claim to have seen the full picture of Jesus the answers you'll get would explain to you why there are 30,000 different Christian sects who have all seen the "full picture of Jesus" but can't agree on anything among themselves I maintain that anyone who looks at any religion and says there's no truth in it hasn't really understood it. But then I tell you, there's only one place where God's self disclosure is complete. And Jesus answered, “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me"Yeah, elevate your own delusion over others And if you need some objective reference to ponder this truth claim, know ye that the odds that one man fulfilled all the eight prophecies done by Christ Jesus is 10 billion quintillion (10^28) (Dr. 1:7).the odds that spiderman saves Mary Jane Watson from that fall is even lower than that Finally (on account of the selfless work of Christian missionaries in our world especially war-torn Sudan) I haven't seen a system of do's and don'ts that removes the evil in the heart. brodalokie:Lmao! Dude, when you don't know something, you should ask. The devil, is very different from the deity Esu. The Christian devil never once lived as human. Esu was human once. He had a double personality, he did both good and evil, as he pleased. He was a trickster, very cunning and very lazy. He had no job. The Christian devil did not exist in Yoruba culture. I guess your colonial masters influenced the Yorubas to adopt Esu's name for the devil because of his tricky nature. So the name was adopted for Satan, but they are two different people. You sound like Igbo. Biko maintain your lane. Don't come here and be saying what you don't know about other people's culture. |
