That's why I have always stated that we can only get things right the moment we start demanding accountability and good governance from different strata of government. We only focus on the federal government and the president in particular, whereas, most of our problems come from the people who are very close to us.
Look at this fine and laudable initiative of the federal government which has been given to our aunties, brothers, sisters etc to implement, they will never show comitment to give their best. Unfortunately, by the time you go through people's comments, you will find out that about 99% of the blame for this show of shame will go to the president as if he is supposed to be everywhere, cook the food and serve those children by himself.
Hardly will anybody remember the person directly doing this to those children. At least, I have seen so many places this feeding program is going on in the south East With a lot of comitment from the food vendors. The aim of the government for this program was to improve the nutritional supplements in the body of the children and not to give them poison. This is ridiculous.

The truth is Buhari can't oversee everything which is why projects such as this are further broken down into state government and local government......
Notifying the LG, st gv, fg is your responsibility irrespective of whether such action yields fruit or not so that' it stands as evidence against them.
There are many things wrong with this country but it would be unwise to lump it all on Buhari. He can only try his best to make things better and so far in my opinion, his best isn't good enough.

I can tell you for a fact (since I have friends who are themselves supervisors) that there is little or no monitoring of the activities of the vendors. They simply wire monies monthly into the accounts of their supervisors, effectively rendering them "impotent". The supervisors in turn does the same for their state coordinators, and the chain of palms greasing goes all the way to the top echelon!

This is what has been happening, although to a lesser degree, to N-Power as well. Most people hardly report to their places of assignment and bribe the head teachers into giving them a pass. No one seems to care about the multiplier effect of their actions anymore. Very hopeless situation it appears!

That said, it is a shame the president hasn't deemed it fit to make an example of some persons in his circle. I don't know if he's saving his whip for his second tenure since at that time, he'd have nothing to lose taking such decisive actions. In all honesty, I can't deny the fact I've been disappointed in some of the choices he's made and his aloofness in some instances.

This is terrible. Even refugees deserve better. Even though the intent of the FG is germaine, the system is just crawling with saboteurs.

The coordinators shortchange the the people who do the actual cooking and serving so much so the cooks cut so much corners to make profit.
