Hello house, congrats in advance to newmum0615, I secretly say some words of prayers for you. My legal sis - Ethelia, well done on ur good works on this forum. Elfmanssisback, Smslive2, msctan18, gliterringstar, luffyhaki and others too numerous to mention, thanks for your wealth of experience you have continued to share with silent readers like us.

To my issue, my WES report came in this morning, I evaluated both LLB and LLM and it gave an equivalence of Master's degree, this has increased my score to 451. I was initially using 2 or more certs to simulate my CRS score for both hubby and myself, I am the PA. But a note was made on my WES report, that the name on my account differs from the one on the certs evaluated. i.e. my maiden name and my married name. My profile is in my married name because my Passport is in my married name, same with all other supporting documents I will be getting e.g. reference letter, bank statement etc. Do you think this will be an issue? NOT AN ISSUE

Hubby's report is due 21st of this month and we evaluated his LLM alone because of the issue of incomplete transcripts (IJMB result) for his LLB. I have read that we can do our medicals shortly before the draw after we enter the pool to avoid the rush after ITA. Is this advisable? Go Ahead with your medicals with immediate ALACRITY, Nothing do you
Lastly, for POF, we intend to use 25% of my pension funds and the rest would be transfer from hubby's acc to my savings account that also doubles as my salary account. The issue now is can hubby transfer the funds to my account post-ITA? and do we need a gift deed since it from an accompanying spouse?Yes, He can transfer it to you now but He doesnt need to transfer it to your account, he can just write a letter of authorization that the fund is unencumbered and is available for the purpose of PR, No need for Gift Deed

Hello house,

My learned sister, if you have really been following this thread and the posts of the people you mentioned, you shouldn't be asking these basic level questions. They have been answered too many times on this thread to count.

1. No issue. Just indicate your maiden name in the question of Alias or if you've been known by any other name.

2. Depends on what you want and its no issue. Just remember that you have 1 year from the date of the medicals to land (or less depending on validity of your passport). So, depending on when you get your COPR, you may have a very short time before you have to land.

3. Again, no issue. In my case hubby transferred 100% of the POF sef and we attached a declaration of gift (not notarized). If its from his personal account, you can simply add a declaration of gift just to cover all angles.

@livy2018 be careful with your medicals. There's no hurry about it. No one can predict CIC so you don't know when you'll get ITA. For instance, why was there no draw last week?

As you've been advised, medicals last for exactly one year and your COPR expires when your med expires.

Was he issued one reference letter by the employer to supposedly cover both NOCs? If yes, please check to be sure that the roles stated didn't accentuate the 1 year experience more than it did the 3 years. Remember, the duties stated have to align with the lead statement as stated on the NOC site to at least 70% or thereabouts.

The issue here isn't the reference letter but the NOC chosen. You can use two different NOCs and one reference letter but you have to choose a primary NOC which has minimum of 1 year job experience while filling the forms before submitting.

HI,
Was the EOR sent to you via mail or you went to their office to check?

kriyobt:
I applied for EOR with BC, and received my result without an upgrade after 9 days (7 working days). I doubted it considering the duration, so I sent a mail to them and got the response in the attachment below. I can also confirmed that I have met 4 persons whose EOR was completed in less than 2 weeks. As stated the EOR processing time will be updated.

From 3. above, does the hubby need to present his account statement showing the transfer?

I would advice you indicate only your masters while diving into the pool. Keep things as simple as possible for later.

After ITA, when filling you application proper, you can all three under educational history, indicate those that weren't evaluated. You'll be asked to upload supporting docs for all of them (certs for others and certs + eca for masters).

Alternately, since they're all within last ten years they can stay in personal history and only Masters (with which you're claiming points) stays in educational history.
thanks for this. You toomuch abeg
