My advise for you is this, you may choose to stay in abuja for residing sake because Abuja is purely meant for lazy Nigerian politicians, slay Queen's, sugar mamas and their likes, but when it comes to real business or hustling, I bet you Lagos na baba, anything sell in Lagos even shit too sell in this Shithole country. |

masseratti: I have live in both towns and I know what I'm saying. I currently work in abuja and mehn, the expenses are crazy. Abuja calm, I agree. Abuja less stressful, agreed but less cheaper is a Capital NO. Name it, Food, clothing, transport, accommodation, etc, is more expensive here 1 Like 1 Share |

Lagos is stressful, but most companies have their headquarters there. So it depends on your line of work/business. Abuja on the other hand is calm and organized, you find mostly big men and Govt. workers. All the core Agencies and Parastatals have their towers here like NNPC, PTDF, CBN, CAC, Foreign Affairs Ministry and others. So, the choice is yours. |

As someone that has stayed in both state, let me give u my observations. Abuja and Lagos are like words and opposite. Abuja is not a place u jump to. U need to plan before going there..Lagos can be so annoying.. Stress is now normal here. Traffic is seen as no big deal..But its a land of opportunity more guaranteed than Abuja. Why will I leave Lagos for Abuja? When I have started a family. Its going to be a long time plan. The environment is serene and nice to bring up children and at the same time offers the patents the time to nurture them. Aside this, I will remain in Lagos to permutate opportunities 1 Like 1 Share |

The only reason why I would wanna leave Abj is because of change of environment cos I spent most of my life here. My life is "easy, oo jeje" and I have this feeling I won't last long in Lagos. How man pikin go dey wake up 4:30AM or thereabout in the name of beating traffic then you return home late again. If you open a Barber Shop in Abj or offer laundry services in a strategic place, it will blow though. It gets boring when most people are just indoors. No like that. Just have cash and be enjoying yourself. For me, I'd probably look for alternatives outside these two cities. 1 Like 1 Share |

Adbiz: I was going to say these but you said it most eloquently. Lagos is tough and soul-sucking. Once in a while I visit to catch fun, but I don't want to live in Lagos: 2-4 hour traffic jams starting at 5am, and then agin from 4pm-10pm. What kind of madness is that? I have friends who don't see their kids all week (and they're all living in the same house)! 2 Likes |

Which is more conducive for living? Lagos is definitely not good for human habitation. It is not a place for sane people. But I will consider it better than Abuja for business because of the population and its location. 1 Like 1 Share |

HomeOfMe: I intend to import foreign doors, and Lagos is so saturated with that business. Competition is all over the corner. Which means Abuja is a preferred choice for you?. |

domainsales18: Sir, i deeply appreciate the time you took in giving out this concrete advice. My friends have all suggested Abuja for me, because i intend to go into foreign doors importation. Lagos on the other hand is so saturated with the business already, and almost everyone is importing doors. Please what's your take on this, where in Abuja would be a preferred location?, as i need to make the decision urgently and decisively , with a concentrated and vivid background of the dangers and demerits involved sir. |

NwanyiAwkaetiti: I'm looking for a place to start up a business and maximize profits and returns within a short period, therefore channeling every possible energy into the business at hand. Importation of foreign doors is what i intend to start with, and currently, Lagos is filled with importers who are into the same line of business. They tend to generate competition. On the other hand, where in Abuja can such a business be located, and what's the minimum house rent fee?. Thank you very much for your time and reply ma |
