It would have been great if you had read the comment you quoted to the end, and then actually understood it. It wasn't a justification, it was an explanation. There's actually a difference. An explanation doesn't try to make something seem right, it tries to get something understood. The OP did say he wanted to delve into the psychology of the subject in focus without judgement.
