Please I need someone here, anyone to explain what I need in registering as a driver on uber/taxify. The thing is looking more complicated than I thought and what on earth is TIN and how do I get it?

I don't have a car yet but getting one on rental soon.

Nextday, I did same thing around 8am, and I got a request too, this time ikoyi. One miniature girl with a gold colour hair and a ring pierced to her nose came out. She entered my ride, I greeted her but she didn't reply, well, that's none of my business, my biz is to take u to your destination. She sat at the back, brought out her phone and made some calls, told me to pick up a friend of hers at Adeniran ogunsanya. I got to adeniram ogunsanya and her friend came out, I actually happened to know her friend. She shouted my name and asked me multiple questions within a minute, then she asked why I was on ehailing platform, told her I was trying to be adventurous and she said... don't worry about what she said. Ride was 1800.

My point is, I have driven atleast more than 8people on uber platform and truly there are ups and downs.
You get to meet different peeps, the rude, nice, ugly, beautiful, bold, timid people.

If your driver says he can't pay 35k weekly on a sound car, don't bother taking him.

As a driver, your manner of approach, dressing and how neat your car is matters alot. I drive a 2014 SUV and yes majority of the riders i drove kept calling me for offline trips. Well, I got two offline trips from the guy i dropped at chevron, took his father to airport and my fair was 15k.

Guys, always make sure u look good, smell nice and make sure your car smells nice too. You can break-even in this business.

My first rider and I had a date, a successful date I must say.

That's the end of my adventure and yes the adventure bore fruits of friendship...

Yeah that's my personal car, should I wanna venture into this ehailing biz as a driver, I won't go for a car lower than 2012.
My audience target won't just be just uber/taxify alone,
I noticed people love grand entrance, especially ladies and most of them don't mind paying more for such service.
Let me give another experience I had during my adventure. The guy I drove to chevron, remember I dropped his dad at the airport, the dad collected my contact, he got back to Lagos but prior to his return he called me to pick him up. My plan for uber was just to and fro (surulere to ajah)and once I am home I don't turn on my app till next day...
I had to break my rule, I picked the man up by 9pm from the airport, drove straight to a hotel around ikoyi, he begged me to pick up a lady for him and she stays around chevron. Drove to chevron, picked her up and took her to the hotel, a pretty lady of about 33years, well her business with the man wasn't my business. I dropped her, Got to the hotel and he handed over $500 to me... It didn't end there, this lady also collected my contact.

Sometimes, the way you carry yourself matters a lot, if you appear cheap, they will price u cheap.

Now I have a strong relationship with the man and his son.

since you're hoping to get a car on rental, you have no business registering TIN or account number on Uber

All these were mostly because of your SUV, I used to drive a 2013 corolla on Uber and riders love it.

Hummmmm people sha get lever, when they are asking and pleading for favour ,the sound like Angels but immediately it get sorted ,there real colour surfaces .One guy came on this platform asking for HP for sienna to Ghana, he got someone who gave him 05 sienna for it but not for this thread.Fortunately this particular driver that came here asking for this was my former driver partner for 4months before asking me for sienna,as I cldnt provide the car, he came on the thread to sweet talk people with his proposal. Now the new person that gave him a sienna is a my friend that is into uber biz . He asked me to come see the driver for the sienna ,I was there and coincidentally it happens to be my old driver ,I approved the deal cos I never really had a any issue with him but he has already started telling this man about me with usual driver story against their partner. I ignored it cos I know he felt the best way to get his new prey is to condemn someone. Now he started off the HP ,dropped 200k for initial deposit to continue paying 50k weekly. Now 1month gone no remittance . Car was recovered yesterday with gear issue, unserviced and bashed car Upandan with lots of stories to follow up .
Let's be careful cos people can change to something else within a short time cos of stress and challenge of life ,always be u and never allow situations to change u rather change the situation .

HP is not worth it, I experienced it first-hand and na 07/08 Camry SE, direct toks fa. If you see the car after two months, my sister, you go cry me a lagoon.

Worse still, the morefucker no remit sef, but he was on the road from the tracker. I just gave him a long rope and pulled the rug under his feet.

Some people are rich Bruv and they don't care about money, as long as they enjoy your service they tend to appreciate you. People should also learn to know when and where to draw the line, they over familiarize yourself, over familiarity breeds contempt and your value depreciates.
Another thing I observed, most ladies don't like driving their cars when they wanna cheat, they are scared cuz some friends/family may easily spot them, they go with uber/taxify.
Guys, always be prepared like boyscout cus you never can tell where and when you will meet your helper.

E-hailing is particularly good for entrepreneurs. I'm considering driving on my spare time to meet new people, improve on my interpersonal skills, etc and make small change too like oga gazzuzz.

Something about the owner not requiring a guarantor.

Lol, the date was interesting and fun filled. We spoke about business, politics and a bit of naija music.
She just became of a staff of Exxon Mobil and the day I picked her was when she had to go submit her medical report.
Things are becoming interesting between us. Anyway, let's watch and see...
