IGBOS ARE UNDER SIEGE, TREATED LIKE A CONQUERED PEOPLE WHILE THEIR ELITES WATCH COWARDLY. I am shocked that the Igbos are not speaking up at the apparent siege laid on their land by uniformed person of different categories. They range from Army, Navy, Police, Civil Defence, Customs, FRSC, etc... |

Did you do history in school at all? did you know how many lives were lost during the first coup carried out by Igbo officers? Do you know how that Biafra made the first strike on Nigeria during the civil war? Do u know how the Biafra soldiers invaded bendel rape their women and kill thousands ? LochOtieno: |

Omotolatolulope:Take a look on Nigeria and tell me why the country should remain one. A country that have only one viable seaport and one viable international airport all because they don't want SE to develop or have easy access. Go to South Africa and see what we call country that want develop every part . South Africa have 6 standard international airport and 7 standard seaport. You cant live in Cape town and be going all the way to Johannesburg or Durban just to leave the country or clear your goods. somebody that live in Pretoria cannot be mocking somebody that live in Durban that they don't have railway because their federal government can never build railway in their region or do any good thing in their place and you expect them to be happy.. |

LochOtieno:What about people that died on the Nigerian side? Casualties of war were not restricted to Biafra and even within Biafra, the casualties in the Biafran side wasn't limited to Igbos! What about the Ibibios, Ijaws, Akan, Efiks etc that died fighting for Biafra. Have they not moved on? Pleaseeeeeee |

Odingo1:I guess you are about to tell us how the Yorubas aligned with the Hausa-Fulani in the first republic to spite the ibos. In the second republic after the war which saw 3million ibos been led to Golgotha by their boastful cantankerous warlord, which section of the country aligned with the same Hausa-fulanis? Of course, the middle belt region must be populated with m.o.r.ons who can't see, read nor hear hence it was easy to poison their minds against the ibos. They must have been blind, deaf and dumb when you ibos invaded and occupied their ancestral land under the pretext that you want out of the new nation. According to you, "The middle belt are been slaughtered all because the yorubas don't give a damn about them as long as they are able to feed off their master's table", however the ibos that were concerned with the plight of the middle belt region were the same ones inundating all social media with the words "Karma is a bitch; serves them right for fighting against the ibos during the civil war". Igbos are the only ones who gloats whenever the hausa-Fulanis unleashed their murderous act on the middle belt people. |

spartanman007:Lies from pit of hell. Ojukwu declared Biafra on 30th may 1967, after six days of the declaration, Gowon declared war on Biafra on 5th June 1967. The ist strike was from Nigerian government while Biafrans were on defensive, it was during during the middle of the war that Biafrans started being offensive. |

BAILMONEY:So because yorubas have refused to unduly hate hausas, christians are now minority in Nigeria? Why cant igbos hate hausas and fight them alone? Why must the yorubas be co-opted into hating Hausa?. Na by force? |

| Re: Who Is Afraid Of Igbo? by gurnam: 2:09pm On Jun 14, 2018 |
T9ksy:That is Igbo hypocrisy! They still wish harm to befall on all they perceived to have contributed to them losing the war, not least the people of the Middle-Belt. |
| Re: Who Is Afraid Of Igbo? by Odingo1: 2:11pm On Jun 14, 2018 |
T9ksy:3 million Igbos that died in that war are mainly small children, all because of Awolowo policy to starve little children to death by getting Cameroon to block bakkasi and he later committed suicide by drinking poison after been trampled upon by the Fulani people he served. Man to Man fight, the combined British and Russia backed Middle belt,Hausa-Fulani,Yoruba army couldnt defeat the Igbo men for 2 and half solid years until Awolowo started food blockade by getting a deal with France for Cameroon to block their front line, today Cameroon have seize Bakassi because of the job they did for Nigeria so that they can win the way. Yoruba use their lagos-Ibadan expressway media to blackmail the Igbos. The middle belt fought the war for the Hausa-Fulanis despite the fact that Igbos are christians like them, they were brain washed by Hausa-Fulanis and Yorubas and even other tribes in Niger Delta. Imagine the state of dilapidation in the most Niger Delta area and yet they believe that Igbos want their oil despite living with Igbos as their neighbors for centuries without any war with each other all because Hausa-Fulani and Yoruba propaganda. |

resurgent2019:But Yoruba always join Hausas to fight Igbos |
| Re: Who Is Afraid Of Igbo? by Odingo1: 2:21pm On Jun 14, 2018 |
resurgent2019: The best thing is to restructure the country and allow Igbos to develop their region at-least if they cannot get anything from FG, let them have power to build functional airport and seaport and manage their region, I believe the hate will disappear. If an Igbo man want to fly out of the country let him to go to Enugu or PH and also clear his or her goods at the nearby Onitsha river port or Calabar or Onne rivers, that is how they do it in South Africa and it attract development in all their region. |

Odingo1:I am with you on this—ditto for millions of yorubas. And i believe we would get this through diplomacy, failing which the south will have no other option but to engage in armed struggle. Pending that time however, we must eschew hate and see how we can maintain the peace. I have always been an advocate for what i call "structured aggression". It means that you must plan adequately before going to war. You dont just rush into war without planning it well. The igbos made a mistake going into the biafra war without adequate preparations. This is where the yorubas diverge with the igbos: We wont fight a war with the north without planning, and also deploying "active measures" that covers a multi-pronged approach to warfare. You can call it cowardice, but we call it sophistication. Igbos should just calm down and plan properly. I see them as the least prepared for armed struggle among the major tribes. |
