When you asked for a reward, she most likely thought you meant a sexual favour since that’s what a lot of guys have a habit of asking for in return. You didn’t do anything wrong in my opinion, but ‘reward’ is ambiguous so you can’t blame her too much for assuming you wanted sex basically

I once sent a girl N200 credit and I did it out of my own freewill. If I don't want to send or don't have money to send, I say I don't have money or explain to her in a way she will understand me. I don't expect any reward or talk much story like this one.
