1 of my drivers is complaining about not receiving enough requests on Taxify lite. Can drivers pls confirm if this is true? Sadly this driver is only on taxify.

I got same complaint. Taxify has the "TAXIFY" option as the default option. With time, riders will get used to it.

Minus added unannounced bonus yet to be given for being a classy with a clean car.

Abeg, where is that human being or na Human Right Activist for Uber Driver talking about Car maintenance.

Another date loading after 5 days with your first rider.

Abeg, if you drive on Uber, come and learn from this grand master driving for fun yet making more than people driving for business.

The Diff is Clear.

Well Done Sir

How do you learn how to be lucky? I met someone that I've earned over a million naira from by just renting my car to him whenever he is in the country. Been on this for over a year now.
Though I have a really nice car that he got attracted to, meeting him was by pure lucky. And like I said before, how do you learn how to be lucky?

You must not be owing any of the platforms (I will check)

If you stupidly bash or heavily scratch the car due to careless and thoughtlessness, you will be wisely bounced without remorse

LASTMA/FRSC fines, if it's less than 10k it will shared equally (No one is above mistake), anything above, OYO or i bail my car and get another driver. Plus if it's rampant, contract terminated! (It's no more mistakes, Village people things)

Long Story Short:

I will NEVER fail in my duties as a partner, you must NEVER fail in delivery too.

If you meet the criteria above send a *MAIL* to owellemi@gmail.com, with your contact, a screenshot of your Uber and Taxify profile and any other thing you deem fit.

Lucky definition: 1. having good things happen to you by chance: 2. bringing good luck

You say that someone is lucky when they have something that is very desirable or when they are in a very desirable situation. I am luckier than most. I have a job. I consider myself the luckiest man on the face of the Earth.

One thing I know about life is, in whatever you decide to do always show up with the right attitude.

Being good with people provoke blessing and you don't know what you loss when you show up with the wrong attitude in life.

From his experience as shared by him, he meet different people within the short while, The Good, The Bad and The Worse.

If he show up with the with the wrong attitude, he would have miss the chance to watch the match with his first rider. If he show up with the wrong attitude, the guy that refers the old man, wouldn't have refer him. If he show up with the wrong attitude with the old man, he wouldn't have get USD 500 and the opportunity to meet the babe that now agree to pay him 45k daily for 5 days.

Now the big question is, have this riders use Uber before and ride with other drivers on the platform? The answer is Yes.

Did these drivers create a memorable ride experience for them as rider? Maybe Yes or No

One thing is, if you get the opportunity to be a driver on Uber, make use of the opportunity to connect positively with your riders. Some of your riders have people booking appointments, getting reschedule for appointment booked, yet you as Uber driver, the same person is the one booking appointment with you to get him/her from one place to the other.

Also by all standard, Dovehorizon isn't a small boy because small boyz can't afford the school fees paid at LBS.

LBS short courses cost between hundred of thousands to millions of Naira, so by all standard, I considered him a Big Boy, yet he his humble enough to try something different which afford him the opportunity to connect and meet new people and also getting paid for doing it.

He (Dovehorizon) is a genius, not lucky.

grin cheesy grin

Note - As a driver on Uber, learn and practice the lesson he his teaching or as taught already here on the platform. His first rider would have probably booked another Uber driver to get her home yet the other driver on returning leg doesn't connect. The guy that connect him with the other man would also have used Uber from his house before he booked Dovehorizon to drive him home.

Permit me to Add sir.........

- Drivers should also not push it. Some might have read the story, thereby expecting too much from any rider that appears to fit the profile. This approach might be damaging on its own, Like you said that Drivers should just keep the right attitude and good will definitely come to such fellow. When you dont expect too much, you are less likely to be disappointed..............

You could work 6months and still not have the kind of experience he had in a week, but dont feel disappointed or lose that sweet personality. Just a ride could make up for a whole year of labor.

Attitude is Everything

OK thanks....I have very strong feeling Uber would gain more from this category sh*t...on the other hand I don't think Taxify did their home work well....wat is d difference BTW a 2004/2005 corolla?? Dunno ooo....I don't see no difference...for a trip of 11km 20mins...for Taxify lite let's say 2004 corolla, riders get to pay approximately 1100. If u do the maths using their parameters for the same trip on the new regular Taxify. With corolla 2005..riders get to pay approximately 1400....that's like 300naira difference....it won't take time bfor Nigerians figure it out

My analysis of the new category ish is that....Taxify did not get it right for this 1....here are my points
1...while some drivers are smiling now some are very sad....from short findings Taxify lite struggles for request
2...Taxify light drivers wld definitely be concentrating on uber more...those on only Taxify Wed try and join d uber train.
3....4 now most riders have not figured it out yet by the time they do m sure most of the drivers Wld have blended more in uber...thereby making it hard to get a Taxify lite is which is supposed to be the cheaper fare option...drivers are complaining now and am sure there are looking for alternatives....
5. Partners wld soon stop buying those Taxify lite category cars....because there is more money in the base Taxify...
6... drivers wld soon start to reject or renegotiate rentals for cars 2004 below....

7...when riders in a long run decovers that Taxify just systematically increased their fare...I trust Nigerians...they go gbagie... grin becos the Taxify lite Wld then be hard to get With Long ETA
8...the Taxify rider app is designed in sure a way that riders can easily book trip without knowing their estimate...unlike uber about 85%-95% wld see their estimate bfor booking. it's not as easy as Taxify is to book a trip without destination....I know for sure pple book more trips on Taxify without destination than uber....

He met one rude girl that didn't even return his greetings. Do you agree you can continue to get randomly matched with rude people on uber/taxify? Now imagine if that was what happened that day? We wouldn't hear about this beautiful story by the poster.

Besides, the calibre of people he got matched with are not regular riders on taxify cos obviously they would have one or two cars in their compound. Now imagine these people didn't use uber on the days Mr Horizon worked on uber, or if they did and got matched with another driver?

My point is meeting these extraordinary clients is mostly by luck. There is no denying Mr Horizon did his best to prepare himself and made himself and his ride attractive to these people calibre of people. But meeting or getting matched with them at all is completely out of his hands. He doesn't chose who he gets matched with. Which makes this beautiful story down to luck. Abi na every day you dey hear this kind gist?
Luck is not a bad thing or something to not be proud of. I want more luck in my life abeg.

Pls guys, I uploaded my drivers license during my registration on uber but it comes back as missing after a few days. Could this be due to the fact it is just temporary and expires soon?

I have re-uploaded it twice and it comes back as "missing".
