omopeace4luv:You need someone who can stand in for u.The person will be asked to provide details abt you and your baby, just like a verification process,he/she wuld be required to fill a form and in that form, their passprt no will be inputed. If u can get someone who knows a citizen. That's all u need. |

Hi everyone. Im new here. Tried catching up with all the posts and ive gotten a lot of useful information thank you everyone and particularly @hotstepper. The issue here now is i am due January next year and currently trying to apply for a visa and im having issues (mostly within myself lol) don’t know whether to add in the application (additional information section) that i will also be going to deliver my baby there. Even though i indicated vacation. Orr im thinking I should leave the application as it is (holiday for 2 weeks), and then declare at POE? Im really confused. I have family there so all of that isn’t an issue and thanks to everyone here, I was able to get cost and Drs num etc. Kindly help me. God bless you |

Demi007:There is nothing confusing here, state the fact in your visa application..you are going to give birth in Canada. Declaring at Poe is so deceiving because you are pregnant when you applied for that visa and knew that you want to use it for child birth. If we continue to lie our way through every immigration system then we are going to make things difficult for others. |

Thanks for your response. I already made up my mind after aquaboss responded that I’ll include it in my application (online) I have follow up questions though. 1.) do i need to include an appointment letter from a Dr? Because, from all that i have read on the thread (recent posts) Drs haven’t been picking up (even i have tried to call severally). Also, People get hung up on by the secretaries of the Dr’ etc. I just want to know if I have to submit any medical appointment proof with my application online? Another challenge im having is when i get to POE. If im asked if I have a Dr’ appointment, I can’t say yes if I haven’t been able to get. And a lot of people here have suggested just walking into med centers when one gets there. 2.) I plan to travel in September even though im not due till Dec/Jan. Hope that isn’t too early? This is in relation to possible questions I might be asked at POE like “How long are you here for ?” Becsuse in filling my online form it has 2 weeks as travel period. Thank you all for your responses. Really appreciate and waiting feed back on this as well justwise: There is nothing confusing here, state the fact in your visa application..you are going to give birth in Canada.
