It is an award by an individual not the school. Nothing unusual. However, if I was the one, I would not go the stress to get the money. Just include the achievement on my CV. yazach:BBN was sponsored by private firms desiring to make money not for philanthropic purposes. Two different cases. You can't tell a private individual/firm how to spend his/their money. okerekeikpo:You do not become the best graduating student because you want to be "dashed" money. Not done anywhere. When I was in higher institution, 2k was a real big deal. Asides the fact that brilliant and innovative students are being rewarded with paltry sum. . . The bigger picture actually is that we need to start asking questions about what successive government have done to the economy of this great nation. |
