guy, the matter tire me

As Uzoho has now done far better than was expected of him, we are now dragging retired Enyeama into the discussion

Anyway, it is a good sign that Uzoho is being compared to a great goalie like Enyeama, that means he has greatness ahead of him, and unlike Enyeama, something as important as height, will not impede his progress

Wow! That turned out to be a photo finish. Lovely hit by KY Son, What a player! Shame he could leave football in the coming year for a mandatory 21 months of national service to Korea.

Musa is a modern day striker who can be deployed as a wing forward or center forward. Ighalo is only effective as a CF but with a poor goals return in SE colors.

do4luv14:
Thank you for clarifying
That bring to the question is Musa an out and out strikehuh Same goes for nachohuh

When comparing movement including runs you have to take some things into consideration like position been played and others

So ighalo go sidon for front dey wait for ball abihuh
The earlier you understand the difference in style of play the beta
Do you notice how much the World Cup has evolved, very quick football, Hernandez Chicharito and Ighalo are age mates, the aforementioned is even a so-called poacher while Ighalo an acclaimed number 9. But Hernandez adapted his game to fit EVERY team he has played in, at one time for Real Madrid he was scoring long-rangers.

Now Ighalo is a very good forward, but he is so far lacking in intensity and doesn't seem worried when isolated. In the game between Argentina and Croatia, Aguero had no touch in the last 20 minutes of the first half, just 7 touches in the whole of the first half, in the second half, I saw him playing as a midfielder. Worried.

Another bizarre thing to Ighalo's attitude is that this might be his last stint at the highest level because of Nigeria's emerging Golden generation bit it doesn't seem to bother him.

Look at this statement
charlesemeka85:
with etebo's resurgence i foresee onazi's time in the team to be over soon unless he rediscover his old form.with the emerging talents such as kelechi nwakali, chidiebere nwakali, billing anyanwu, esiti, agbo and the presence of etebo and ndidi, onazi has to work hard to get back to reckoning again
He actually forgot that Nwakali was the one threading passes for Iheanacho at youth level because Iheanacho taken so much responsibility for his age.
no one calls Iheanacho an emerging talent.
When Harry Kane suffers his usual goal drought during August, he tends to shoot more in games, Ighalo's goal drought on the other hand hasn't triggered the beast in him.

Contrary to opinions on here, I dont think Mikel was impressive yesterday.
He was sluggish, made a lot of back passes, and as a matter of fact, Etebo had to drop deep into the midfield. He also failed to release our wingbacks with long passes on many occasion. Ogu would have done better than Mikel in the same role but we know he's untouchable.

That said, it's better Mikel was deployed as a DM than as a AM.

Also, save for Ighalo's indecisive moment on some occasion, he had more presence and took up better position on the pitch than Nacho. He just has to be quick with his decision. His finishing is another talk for another day.

The only North African team who would have done very well at the world stage was the Abu Terika Egyptian golden generation.
They played up to the finals of the confederations cup and frankly would have done well if they had managed to qualify for the 2006 world cup.

Did you notice that Ndidi went forward more than Mikel? He did his job as the 4th defender, he commanded that zone. I don't remember him being sluggish, except you mean he didn't attack.

Ndidi drove forward with the ball on many occasions. Mikel took too long on the ball only to make a back pass or sideway pass. He improved in the second half but it wasn't to my taste.

I think it is only Nigeria that takes a world cup break. This is not the only series even going on. Funny thing is their stadiums are relatively filled with fans.
