no it will be necessary for super clean wound and faster healing cos as the dead cells are eaten up newer/living cells are quickly formed, watched the documentary years back. No medical doctor can do it better

these ones are live maggots that have been disinfected and by no means further infect the wound. science has gone far beyond the way we Africans think. synthetic or live maggots, if it is from western world, it will work well on any wound. But if it is from this side especially Nigeria, after few weeks the patient must die of further infection. All they know in African is to cause riot, go on strike necessarily, fight for money, looting national treasury without conscience, spend budget on research in hotels and on wines, buy cars and celebrate new houses. I heard about this since 2014 so it's nothing new. The logic is solid. There's also a return to leech therapy, OP should write on it too. All the maggots used for the procedure are first raised in labs then tested to ensure they contain no harmful properties. I will opt for this a hundred times over any form of pills and tablets -- something about using nature as a medicine warms my heart.

This bio-therapy is scientifically true and mostly used by Indians.

Maggot therapy is utilized for wound debridement and disinfection. They consume the necrotic (dead) tissue in wound and release some antibiotic chemicals which cleans up and disinfects the wound.

There are certain protocols in place for the use of fly larvae therapy, which is not common and not every of the MAGGOT species eats only dead tissue.
