I think she's compared both religion and has decided to take a stand. She was a Christian before marriage and converted to Islam 'cause of love, I guess, but now that she's no longer comfortable with Islam, she decided to convert back to Christianity.

I think there is nothing bad in interreligion marriage but the part I don't like is when one of the religion says as a man you can marry a woman from the other religion while a woman from that same religion should not marry from the other religion, it is so lopsided as for me I can allow my wife to convert to Islamic rl if she likes it and can be steadfast while we help the children practice any of the two religion and help them to be steadfast. Tolerance, love, understanding and grace is all they need to make it work out the man should lower his ego and play his role as a father, husband and companion

The reason for high rate of divorce cases reported at the customary court are between muslims is because Islamic marriage and no marriage under the Act comes under Customary court .Those who marry at the registry and under the Act( Matrimonial Causes Act)will make their request for divorce at the high court.You can only conclude your assertion if you have statistics from both the high courts and customary courts.
