Hello Nairalanders,

i did biometric yesterday. I got there are 12pm and finished at 5.30pm. it was a long wait.

One question please, i have gotten new visa on my passport from another country after submitting my study application. Do i need to inform CIC of this new change?

If yes how do i go about it.

Please advice.

Thanks

Hello guru(s), my application is currently 16 weeks and I got medical request and passed for over 8 weeks now. I used the webform to make enquiry as regards my application last week monday and they responded thus; "Please note that your application for a study permit to Canada is currently under active review. You will be notified via your online account once a decision has been reached".

My question is, what are they reviewing for 16 weeks cry cry

You can do it alone but if you don't have the much need knowledge about Canada school and traveling then allow agent to do it for you.

Hello Fam,

Sorry to go off a lil bit.

My message is for Ontarians. I actually need to know if we have students in Ontario on this forum who understand the process of obtaining a driver's License in Ontario. I am making preparations to obtain the G license at once and I want to know if the following counts

1. International drivers License obtained from FRSC

2. Letter from FRSC stating the number of years the applicant has been driving.
3. Letter from the Nigeria High Commission in Ottawa.

Look forward to a positive contribution

Warm wishes,

I know of the first, which is the national drivers license, it's very important. Don't know if the rest counts.

Have you secured an acceptance into a DLI (Designated Learning Institution) in Canada? If yes, start from page 0 of this thread, you will find answers to what you're seeking.

It looks like an approval to me since you were requested to do medicals, link your application online and check the status.... as for the courier, if you're in abuja, go to vfs abuja and request courier, they will tell you what to do if not contact vfs lagos through their website and tell them what you want. Goodluck

Hello house

I think I just received a ghost update on my online account. After two weeks of medical request and medical passed, I just logged in now and saw "application/profile updated". But when I opened to view full details, I didn't see any updates. Nothing has changed.

Any ideas what's going on? Has anyone experienced something similar?

Hello gurus in the house.

@Frankrobbin, @Glitteringstar, @Jnyuwa and all other gurus in the house. Please i need your help. I'm new here and i have been reading through, great work you guys are doing. God will bless you all abundantly.

I studied bus.admin, worked for 5 years (2008 - 2013), stopped work to take care of my children. recently completed a 2yr diploma course in fashion design and 1 year internship ending in May 2018. i have also started a small business in fashion also.

Now i want to pursue a 2yr diploma in Apparel technology in Olds College, Alberta. I already have admission letter for fall. i will be going with my 2 daughters (9 and 6).

my Husband and his Uncle are my sponsors. My husband is an employee, while his Uncle is a business owner.

Iv paid the $500 deposit requested by the school and my husband has transferred the balance of the tuition, living expenses for me and my kids to my dorm account, which is $23k

His Uncle will provide SOA of 10m balance and documents for his business.

What are my chances to secure the visa, as i will be applying online very soon.

Any ideas of what i should include in my SOP?

What other documents do i still need to include?

Please house help a sister out!!!

In most cases, when theres a ghost update after medicals have been requested, it means one thing. Application has been approved and awaiting outgoing Passport request e-mail.

So I believe congratulations are in order.
