I feel like a weight has been lifted off of my shoulders. Now, if only Colombia and Japan can keep their respective scores at 1-0 each, I will even be happier.

Japan qualifies...
if they hv the same goal difference, goals scored, and head to head, Japan will qualify because they hv fewer yellow cards.

Who qualifies now between japan and Senegal? cry

If it stands like this, Japan will qualify based on the fair play rule as they have fewer yellow cards than Senegal.

I don't share that hive mentality. Africa is not a country, rather, a continent that is filled with people of different race and culture. Senegal winning the world cup won't make an average Nigerian feel good because of the fact that Senegal is a different country to Nigeria with a completely different way of life. Then, the bragging rights. Senegal will always hold it over the rest of the continent as the first country from Africa to win the world cup.

I guess you feel better now that Senegal is losing. Even Bob marley who was a Jamaican from the American continent sang in the Zimbabwe independence celebrations that " African should unite" So what is bad if Senegal becomes the first African country to win the world cup. I believe whatever one wishes other people will one day come along thier own way. What's wrong in wishing them well, maybe Nigeria might eventually become the 1st to win the world cup in African. And if not, there other football records that Nigeria can break.

Na wa o. My is really deep.

I'm not sentimental. If it ain't Nigeria, then it's rubbish period. Yes, I can be selfish like that. And yeah, I celebrated that goal as if it were a Nigerian goal.
