And Quran was direct words from God through angel Gabriel who brought messages to Muhammad (SAW) by reciting it to him and the Holy Prophet Muhammad was a good memorizer, after angel left, the messenger of Allah will revealed the messages to his followers which were written on rocks, walls, bone and later those memorizers of Quran gathered to write the scriptures on papers at as the time paper was invented and discovered as that happened after the death of Muhammad (SAW)
