Any air campaign turns tides to the full extent that air campaigns can. It does not matter what planes you use. Saudis are turning the tide in Yemen with F16s piloted by inexperienced pilots. It was ground action that won the war.

Well i heard No Russian hacking took place with regard to elections perse , it is a ruse by the anti trump faction, the narrative would have been different if Hillery billery had won.

No matter how slow the Pakistani line might be, it doesn't make any sense they cannot deliver even 1 aircraft in 3 years.

Apart from a couple areas, the JF-17 is entirely built in China, then shipped to Pakistan for out-fitting.

We are looking at 18 aircrafts then.

What about the possibility that jf17 block 2 is not up to the expectations of NAF in its present state . And they r waiting for their version .

It was only couple or so months ago that jf17 got the official operational certification for BVR firing capability.

Till then it was being claimed ( assumed ) that jf17 block 1 and 2 had BVR capability .

And till date all precision bombing by jf17 in FATA had all jf17 carrying and releasing the guided bombs on targets lased by the sniper pods on accompanying F 16 aircrafts. The jf17 had no integral lasing pods with them on all the pics released for operations relating to operational bombing missions.

I don't think NAF buys into propaganda unlike majority of us.

There are a myriad of options the U.S can choose from when launching an attack. Hence while the Russians are busy fooling themselves two U;S Submarines launch cruise missile attacks.... whats more, the missile took a path around the Mediterranean at skimming altitude, completely bypassing Russia's S-300 systems, entered Turkish airspace, popped up in Syria and obliterate its targets via the backdoor. Remember these are subsonic decdes old cruise missiles. What can Russia do?

How about twoo hundred Russian mercenaries that were stupid enough to attempt an attack on American positions? They fell victim to Putins bravado and the impression that America was weak, and paid dearly for that mistake.

All in all how many fighters can the Russian Air Force fields? hundreds. The U.S Navy has more combat aircraft than the entire Russian Air Force. Emphasis on U.S Navy. Not the Air Force. How about the Marines? Russia today struggles to field a Carrier...when Putin sent the Kuznetov to Syria it quickly became a national embarrassment. Two Mig-29 fighters crashed in the first week. The smoke plume the Kuznetsov produced can be seen for miles...and the Kuztnoz deploys with two tugboats in the event its engines breakdown so they can be towed to port.

Enter the U.S Marines. The Marines field three Amphibious Carriers that will count as an aircraft carriers for most nations...oh and the Marines have their own air force independent of the navy and air force. It retired its Harrier jumpjet fleet and now flies the F-35 Stealth fighter. Think about it..this is the Marines flying Stealth fighters.

China has 3,500 aircraft's.
Russia slightly lesser.

The U.S military fields 13,400 aircraft. Nineteen aircraft carriers, nine of which are nuclear powered Nimitz Class..which in itself will soon give way for the Ford Carrier. The rest of the world combined fields less than 6 aircraft carriers and none of them are on par.

So America may not hold Military Parades are display its nuclear weapons on parades for the cameras...but be not deceived. Yes the Saudis have actually turned the tide in Yemen. This is just two week old news. I didn't want the Saudis to win in Yemen but it appears by the grace of Sudanese, Chadian and Moroccoan troops they will. Sanctions will start hitting Iran badly this month and they are over extended in Syria and Lebanon. Again I don't want Iran to be too weak in that region but it just might happen.

To be honest I only included that because everyone on this thread is obsessed with deep strike platform and range, I don’t see NAF taking out targets in Libya or Mali anytime soon but oh well.
