I do not believe your claim of threat.
If it is true that you really receive death threat, prove your case by reporting to the police.
All phone numbers are registered with the Telecom service provider and it can be Investigated.

You know as soon as I received that notification via Whatsapp, I sensed something of the sort might happen - The threats I mean. However, I sense it might be coming from within the same organization. Probably a case of internal jealous and not wanting someone else's idea to outshine theirs.

Death threats for trying to help a follow human, what is really going on in Nigeria

It is very possible. The Donors could be threatened if the incident was masterminded by terrorists, which i don't believe. My observation from the post. They(the donors) might think that their help to the victims is being unnoticed and decided come up with such story. It is part of advertisement, indirect advert. they also made their suspicion.

Is anyone surprised? Nigerians should be among the most cruel people on the face of this earth; perhaps that explains why we elect leaders in our own image most of the time. Wasn't during this same Otedola Bridge tragedy that some commuters lamented that transportation fares were suddenly increased by bus drivers and their ilks who were cashing in on the situation? Isn't this same country most sellers jerked up the prices of their goods citing the high exchange rate but when the rates came down from what it used to be it didn't reflect in the cost of goods? The examples are too numerous to mention of how Nigerians exploit their fellow Nigerians all because of greed and an inordinate ambition to "hammer".

Someone even told that if I travel outside Nigeria I should never associate with Nigerians because of their proverbial bad Belle, Nigerians would always want to spoil your own and laugh at your misfortune. He said i should never ever trust Nigerians abroad. Is this really true
