I was motivated to join the Xiaomi family after seeing it's specs and all testimonies about their devices and i got the redmi 5 plus through Noobody..

Now I see strange things like fake rom etc talks on the MI forum.. don't even know if the room is official or fake..

Now the main problem is my touch pad is not responding to touches.. it's not broken and didn't fall in water..

I'm so confused, don't know if this is a software or hardware problem research shows this is common among redmi users..

I.have to press the power bottom to switch on and forth the backlight etc..

Please which way forward..

Something is going on that I don't understand. My phone just stopped charging, and when I unplugged and replugged the charger, the lock screen showed that it was charging but the indicator light wasn't on, and the battery icon wasn't reacting either. I don't know whether the charger has gone bad. I need a bit of help. Mi max 2 user.

Forget it,the redmi series will never use sd660.

They will probably use the sd630 or sd626 sef. No way will they use sd660 for budget devices.

Also restart your phone and see if anything changes.
By the way, that is not a common problem among redmi users. I joined the redmi crew almost a year ago

Ordered on newly announced Democracy Day, got the tracking number d following day and eventually inserted into 'Domestic Bag' on 26 June. Checked d nearest post office on 29 June but no show for me. Fear of custom duty palaver ń Nipost delay come grasp me like Sanmij and Muyibabs but finally got a today 2 July from Nipost to come for my parcel. Hallelujah!!! No custom duty but paid 1k sha.
Total landing cost is N51,800:20.
