windows 10 on xiaomi laptops are all in Chinese and their isn't a global version yet but their rumors that xiaomi will soon launch their laptops in Europe meaning windows 10 English.so either wait for their global launch or find a way to buy and install normal windows 10 over their Chinese focused windows 10 and then decide if the stress is worth the purchase

My own is going to be 3 weeks tomorrow... But the person i ordered from has already mentioned it so i just dey wait patiently sha.. ordered a redmi 5 but forgot to add casing and screen guard to it... Are there people that have it readily here in Nigeria abeg ?

Wait, are you saying one cannot change the language to English?.......... shocked

And this global version stuff on pc? shocked

What is the difference actually?

I only suspect that it may come with a bunch of Chinese bloatware installed, which should be easy to uninstall.
Or are you suggesting that there will be differences in the hardware?

Just curious.

Guys please help..

I was motivated to join the Xiaomi family after seeing it's specs and all testimonies about their devices and i got the redmi 5 plus through Noobody..

Now I see strange things like fake rom etc talks on the MI forum.. don't even know if the room is official or fake..

Now the main problem is my touch pad is not responding to touches.. it's not broken and didn't fall in water..

I'm so confused, don't know if this is a software or hardware problem research shows this is common among redmi users..

I.have to press the power bottom to switch on and forth the backlight etc..

Please which way forward..
