i believe the major problem majority of 9ja players have is there agents who goes for the bigger offer and not putting the developmental progression into consideration. before omeruo left on loan to his last turkish league he had offers from clubs in decent leagues. another was that of raheem lawal who turned down real betis few years ago just because a turkish team offered him more

That's true. They go for highest bidder. I hope he goes to Gent.

I know about Raheem Lawal but I thought his former Spanish team adviced against buying him because he played in the Africa U23 nations cup against their will.

This swedes team is looking like the real deal,
They stop Netherland and Italy to qualify for world cup, they sent Germany out of world cup and they sent Switzerland out.

Only their final third have let them down so far, otherwise, a very compact team.

Too many wasted clear cut chances.

Peter Olayinka is not short of offers from Germany, Spain and France but if he ditches those offers for Slavia Prague because of money like many Nigerians, I would stop rooting for him.

Dude is too good for any back water league. I dont know why Nigerian players are hardly ambitious. This is one rare trait I see in Kayode, he is always aiming higher and he is never afraid.

They did not send Germany out of the World Cup,Germany sent their self out of the World Cup,Germany have their destiny in their hands, they need to just beat Korea by 1 goal but they ended up loosing by 2 goals and Sweden was killing Mexico by 3 goals,Mexico would have been out by comming 3rd with joint 6 point with Germany and Sweden due to goal difference.

So where did Sweden kick Germany out of the World Cup ?

KAA Gent to sell Peter Olayinka to Slavia Prague after rejecting 5 million Euros bid

By admin - July 3, 2018, 8:28 am

Belgian club KAA Gent may now agree to sell Nigeria striker Peter Olayinka to Slavia Prague after initially rejecting a five million Euros bid by the Czech Republic club.

There have also been firm offers from Germany and France for the lanky striker, who will earn more at Slavia Prague than what he receives at Gent.

Slavia Prague, who finished runners-up in the Czech league last season and will feature in the UEFA Champions League qualifiers in the new season, are now owned by a wealthy Chinese conglomerate.

Representatives of Olayinka and the Czech club are now due in Belgium to discuss the transfer.

Olayinka joined Gent in January 2016, but he has since been shipped out on loan to Dukla Prague and Belgian club Zulte-Waregem.

He netted 11 goals and provided 15 assists in 40 appearances at Zulte-Waregem last season.

Idowu’s Agent Denies CSKA, Spartak Moscow Links

July 3, 2018 2:22 pm

By Johnny Edward:

Brian Idowu’s agent William Davila has debunked reports linking his player with a move to CSKA Moscow and Spartak Moscow, reports Completesportsnigeria.com.

Idowu has been linked with a move away from Amkar Perm following his performances for the Super Eagles at the 2018 FIFA World Cup in Russia wher he played in all three games for Nigeria.

Davila admitted to a Russian online website, championat.com that he has been in contact with another Moscow based team (either of Dynamo Moscow, Locomotiv Moscow) which is aside from CSKA Moscow and Spartak Moscow.

He also revealed that his player will be willing to play in Russia if the conditions are favourable.

“I do not know anything about CSKA’s interest in Idowu,” Davila told championat.com.

“I had contact with another Moscow club, but it’s not CSKA and not Spartak. I can say nothing more. Does Brian want to play in Russia? Why not? But it all depends on the conditions.”

Onyekuru set to head back to Anderlecht after ‘I won’t return’ outburst

By admin - July 3, 2018, 7:26 am

Henry Onyekuru still has a season-long loan at Anderlecht according to reports
Henry Onyekuru is set to return to Anderlecht on another loan from Everton even after he recently said ‘I certainly will not return to Anderlecht’.

According to Liverpool Echo, Onyekuru has a two-season loan at Anderlecht and even though the exciting Nigeria forward has had some issues with the deposed Belgian champions, he is obliged to return to the club.

Onyekuru rowed with Anderlecht after he injured his knee at former club KAS Eupen last year when he sharply disagreed with them that he will need surgery for the injury.

He later blamed the club for not making the Super Eagles final World Cup squad after he did not get playing time on his return from the injury.

Galatasaray to pay Ahmed Musa £4 million pounds a year’

By admin - July 2, 2018, 9:22 am

SCORENigeria has again scooped that top Turkish club Galatasaray have agreed to pay Nigeria World Cup star Ahmed Musa four million pounds a year after tax as they battle to snatch him away from Premier League club Leicester City.

A top source told SCORENigeria: “Nothing has been sealed yet but the offers have continued to pour in for Musa especially after his goals against Iceland at the World Cup.

“The player’s new agents are studying the various offers and one of them is from Galatasaray, who are willing to pay him four million pounds a year.”

A top Saudi club have also made an audacious offer of 40 million pounds over four years for Ahmed Musa.

They are expected to now send a formal bid.

Ahmed Musa still has two years left on his contract with Leicester City, who forked out about 16 million pounds to sign him from Russian army club CSKA Moscow in 2016.

However, he has failed to establish himself at ‘The Foxes’ and so had to go on loan to former club CSKA Moscow in the second half of last season.
