yea but if he can get a deal in one of russia's top clubs he should accept the offer. clubs like cska, locomotive, dinamo moscow, zenit and spatak moscow will be an upgrade if he joins one
BascoVanVeli:

He should leave Russia.

Wait. You mean you once defended him

Not to say I defended him but I just didn't see much reason to fault him at the time. But with his statements and actions lately it is clear to see that he has been trying to destabilize this NFF for a while.

In the first place, I’m not comparing him to the other players you mentioned. Olayinka once had a stint in Czech, so it’s understandable that he is known there. The report had said “there have been firm
offers from Germany and France“. What you should really question here is why his parent club would rather sell him outrightly. But let’s call a spade a spade. Olayinka had a relatively good debut season in Belgium.

charlesemeka85:
oga the calibre of teams that comes for a player is testament to his quality. if olayinka is superb as he is been hyped in this forum atleast clubs from ligue 1 and bundesliga would have been in hot pursuit for his signature. why didnt slavia prague come for the likes of simon moses, onyekuru, samuel kalu and awoniyi who played in the same league last season? hahahahahahahahahaha

He should leave Russia and go see something else and play a different type of football. If he has a chance to go to any of the top 4 leagues I give my blessing. If he stays in Russia and goes to a big club he runs the risk of being left on the bench for an emerging Russian for the youth set up, there is a reason why he was wallowing with strugglers when he started with Zenit.

oga lets call a spade a spade, is idowu good enough for the top leagues? from by observation in his game if bobo gets a contract in any top russian team its a plus and if he moves to one of the top leagues in europe he has over achieved. am not been disrespectful but being honest and blunt

Maduka Okoye to join Fortuna Dusseldorf first team now that they have been promoted to the Bundesliga.

I hope he fights so hard for that first team spot to be their first choice goalkeeper or atleast the second choice goalkeeper.

That boy is a man mountain, I just hope he is athletic enough

That's a good one. Now, should he called even if he doesn't get to play?

It would depend on the competition na. Considering Uzoho is now our #1, the likes of Alampasu will definitely get a consideration. It’s odd to think of older keepers on their late 20s playing second fiddle to Uzoho in the national team. Personally, as it stands, i’d like to see Okoye slug it out with Akpan Udoh in the Flying Eagles.

Are you serious? More than 5 million euros offer and you expect Gent not to receive it? shocked grin

You don't have a case here because even Gyan don go obscure league for money and even one obscure league wan buy Musa for 40m.

Does that makes Samuel Kalu better than these players?

My friend, Peter Olayinka is far better than Samuel Kalu based on last season stats. Fact

Wait and see what happens next before you start to dey fly.

lmao and is gent that poor for them to see 5 million euros as a huge amount? then why did they reject liverpool's initial 10 million euros offer for the services of simon moses? why did they reject over 5 million euros offer when monaco wanted to sign samuel kalu? gyan was already at his peak when he left sunderland for the arabian league, why didnt gyan join the arabian league when he was 20, 21 or 22 years of age? atleast before he left europe for the arab money he proved himself in the french league where and then the epl. if olayinka even opt for a move in the arabians it will be understandable that he is going for the money but leaving the rumored offers from spain and france to a league such as the czech league my friend its absurd. well thats where he can find his standard hahahahahahahahaha

Same here. He would tear the French league up and likely get PSG interested. Who knows, Barca?

Our players are only interested in money. They got no dreams. Musa agent gave a clue that he is going for money. Meaning he might likely be playing in oyel country. What a waste.

Let me remind you that Kanu and Oruma were invited to camp by Westerhof after Japan 93 although they dint make the squad as expected. Kanu at the time wasn't even at Ajax.

Mind you, Yobo was struggling to find himself in Europe early in his career until he settled as a full back at Marseille before he was invited for the world cup qualifiers against Zambia.

In Kelechi Nwakali's case, he is the captain of the Nigerian u20s who didn't qualify for the world cup unfortunately and he cannot play for his parent club due to work permit issues and over time, he has turned out for Dutch clubs on loan where Arsenal farmed him out to gain experience.

Yes, he didn't get much opportunities last season at Venlo that is why Arsenal cut his loan deal and sent him back to Maastricht to make sure he plays. If he wasn't highly thought of. I understand the head of Arsenal academy visits him at Maastricht. Even Olishe gave him lots of praise after playing against his team after which he singled him out and not because of his nationality but the quality of his game which Olishe was very particular about.

Truth is that Nwakali should be given a chance in friendlies. He should be gradually integrated into the national team with plans to have him in full charge of the midfield within the next 2- 3years, which will also coincide with a period where it is expected he will be playing at a decent level in Europe.

The young man is the most talented midfielder of Nigerian stock in western Europe.
If he was born in England, the narrative would have been different.

I am very concerned about your comments. I wanted you to move away from biased emotive conjecture which some think is national patriotism. And for you to examine the issue without emotion.

What you have said is that Nwakali does not need to prove himself in the professional game. He has no need to prove his quality in professional leagues. He is already in the SE essentially.

I remember a certain Rabui Ibrahim at once stage among the top 20 promising teenagers in the world. The hype surrounding him exceeded Nwakali by a very large margin. He left Sporting went to PSV and then Celtic and where is he today.

Another Nigerian project completely fallen by the wayside. What is going on is typical Naija packaging. Yobo Mikel and Kanu did not need packaging they proved it on the pitch.

How many MOTM awards has he won in both the Eredivisie and now 2nd tier.

I am very suprised at your comments. I find your take on things to be objective and very well though out. But on this occasion I am lost for words.

You are classing him as the best 20 year old midfielder Nigeria has. And at 20 he is playing 2nd tier in the Dutch league. Wow !!! Do you really believe that. How many MOTM awards has he won is he the most outstanding player in the lowly 2nd tier of Dutch football.

Dele Alli, Ademola Lookman, Gomez, Ngolo Kante, Diabate, etc, etc, were outstanding players in the lower league that's what got them into EPL.

The bolded is a very very BIG IF. If he was born here he would not have had a straight ticket on the basis of National U17 team excellence to Arsenal. He would have to struggle against all the negative variables that we have to fight with dailyas Africans in the UK. And even if he wanted to play for Nigeria he would then face favoritism nepotism and settlement mentality.

and the money to make is in slavia prague? hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha! bro scouts are not blind or daft, if olayinka is as good as he is been hyped here decent clubs from better leagues would have showed serious interest in signing him. onyekuru played fewer number of matches and scored desirable number of goals,if he was appreciated by anderlecht they would have bothered having him for this new season. moreover the transfer window is not open yet so i believe so much that henry will have lots of suitors in decent leagues if he decides against moving back anderlecht. by the way is slavia prague better than anderlecht?

imoh as of then had a mouth watering offer which was too good to reject, there is no way on earth that a club in czech republic will pay better than a club from the arabians. imoh's move though i wasnt in support of it is justifiable because of the juicy offer. are you telling me that slavia prague will or can pay olayinka over 1.5 million euros annually? imoh wouldnt have listened to a team from czech republic let alone signing for them when he was hot in belgium. so your guy olayinka don find em level hahahahahahahahahaha

A club looking at you is just that lookingjust as they are looking at a hundred plus different players.

Until a club makes an offer its just noise making and newspapers talk.

You don't as a young player reject an offer from a top league to go and play in the dark backwaters of Europe. Even if the money is more.

Don't make sense.
