His problems with Abuja apart, Ortom is too incompetent & heartless. He has subjected his ppl to a life of excruciating hardship by denying & owing salaries of up to 13 months in some cases. Only him & God knows what he kept doing with the several tranches of 'bailout' funds given to his State. In the heat of the hue & cry from starving workers, he famously & arrogantly declared that he was not elected to pay salaries!! After 3 years, he virtually has no tangible projects to commission in any of the 3 senatorial zones. Now, his cotravellers are attempting to inject sentiments into his matter. Meanwhile, my FTC is dedicated to all haters of the mercenary herdsmen hired & invited by fifth column nigerians to depopulate the Middle Belt tribes... 43 Likes 3 Shares |

So i guess this is a resultant effect of "disgruntle politician" going on killing spree of the locals to grab their land and disparage the government of mr Saint?? So Ortom is now to be hounded and harassed by Buhari's terroristic government all because he stood with his people and the law they rightly made?...And yet Yerima and his gang jihadist were rewarded with senatorial seat after implementing sharia law all over the core north with many business closing down?? I speak unending destruction and sorrow to life and generation of any useful accursed idiot that will be used by the fulani ja.janweed to accomplish this evil against ortom. This is nothing but a ja.janweed government of terrorist, by the terrorist and for the terrorist!! 8 Likes |

you can only enjoy infrastructure when you are alive, so am with governor ortom for implementing the law and refusing to back down. lanlong from a minority tribe in plateau is also hobnobbing with abuja rather than standing with the locals. don't worry fulani herdsmen will vote you. |

I feel pity for Orton. If I was the one I won't even come back. The killings in Benue appears to be unsolvable. Even if u enact anti grazing law, how will u implement it. The herders are illiterate and don't care about your law, but even if they did it won't be obeyed. Why? Imagine if Lagos and kano enact anti-free trading laws. You can't enact a law that is directed at a particular tribe. It will only lead to more chaos 2 Likes |

I couldn't help but laugh out the trash from Vanguard, this is a script the governor wants to use to get public sympathy. The Benue sons mentioned know that Ortom is a bad product that will be hard to sell, he has done so bad in his first term and now he is attributing his failure to the Herdsmen crisis witnessed in some parts of the states. adecz: 4 Likes |

In my opinion, this is monkey business, since he has exhausted "open crying " format. In the 3 years spent, nothing tangible or visible can be seen. All radio noise is to congratulate him on open grazing BS. This dude said state workers should forgive and forget salaries been owed them. No road, impact, progress, nothing. If flooding comes this year, he would start crying, yet, even drainages were not constructed or maintained. They force IDPs to keep the hapless, so as sympathy funding can continue. This man is very very wicked and an enemy of his people. Nothing to show... lets his spin doctors provide only 5 projects, including payment of salaries. Did fulani attack doozers and project dept? He should be tried for fraud and criminally masterminding chaos for self enrichment. Lubbish sombori 8 Likes |

Ortom deserves our pity. He was dining with the devil, going to Rivers State to campaign for the APC, but when his issues with the herdsmen started, he was simply abandoned by his APC 'friends' like an orphan. Today, those 'friends' (aside sacking his village) now wants his job. I hope just like Saraki, Dino, Kwankwaso, Dogara, Gemade, etc. that they have learnt a bitter lesson on how not to follow the crowd when they are chanting "change". I hear that they will shout "progress" to deceive more gullible persons in 2019. 2 Likes |

First they said the killers are foreigners! So why do they want to give foreigners land, is that not treason? Then they said it's opposition politicians sponsoring the killings. So why is giving the Fulani Herdsmen land going to stop the killings? Benue people please be wise, don't like Sarrki who has sold his birth right to the Fulanis 1 Like |

The Governor has no rising profile, he is becoming unpopular with the people that voted him into Government by the day. he is using the Open Grazing Prohibition Law as a last straw to win sympathy from the voters. he had his chance and the people's goodwill, he blew it. next please https://www.vanguardngr.com/2018/07/open-grazing-law-forces-move-to-stop-gov-ortoms-re-election-bid/ 5 Likes |

You nailed it, this is a strategy he wants to use sway support to his camp, because it is obvious that the power brokers in APC wants him replaced. He's playing this victim card to make the people feel whoever APC present is coming to do the bidding of the Fulani herders just the way Fayose is doing in Ekiti. They adopted this theory sometime in march. Ortom is the worst governor, ever elected in Nigeria since independence. speed99: 3 Likes |

I hope this is not true. Benue people need to rise up and defend themselves and their ancestral lands. Though I don’t think the Benue Governor has done enough to protect his people. He chose party over the protection of his people. No real action except the open grazing law. 3 Likes |

Orton did not carry out any project in the entire state for over 3 years now, if you think am wrong then mention the name of the project and the location/the scope of the work including the contractors. The last time I checked the Fulani issues is mostly concentrated in his own zone/Suswam zone only, the two of them are the ones fighting themselves. in 2015, Orton lost primary Election in PDP to Tarzor before Akume brought him to APC to replace Emmanuel Jime because Akume thought that Jime did not have money to battle with PDP. If it is not because of the way Suswan mismanaged the state Coupled with the fact that Tarzor was brought in by Patience Jonathan, Orton will not have won that election. Immediately he became the Governor, he started servicing his Godfather Akume and forget about the electorate. They are somany LGA that did not have issues with Fulani but no single project is going on there, so how will the narratives of open grazing law hold waters. But Tiv people will in million times prefer to vote him than somebody from another tribe. The most important thing be said na all of us the feel the heat. 1 Like |
