OBEDIENCE TO GOD’S WORD AND HIS INSTRUCTIONS. (6)

God’s Word and instructions are for your benefits. His commands are not burdensome.

1 John 5:3 (KJV)
”For this is the love of God, that we keep his commandments: and his commandments are not grievous”.

The partial obedience of a prophet cost him his untimely death.

You will not die before your time. Be determined to obey the Lord totally.

1 Kings 13:21-22 (KJV)
"And he cried unto the man of God that came from Judah, saying, Thus saith the Lord , Forasmuch as thou hast disobeyed the mouth of the Lord , and hast not kept the commandment which the Lord thy God commanded thee, But camest back, and hast eaten bread and drunk water in the place, of the which the Lord did say to thee, Eat no bread, and drink no water; thy carcase shall not come unto the sepulchre of thy fathers".

PRAYER POINTS :
1. I reject every spirit of disobedience to God's Word and His instructions from my life.
2. Father, give me Your grace to obey You.
3. Holy Spirit create in my heart the desire to read my Bible daily .
4. My God, make me to love You the more.
