I can only answer the first one. Yes, you can study law in Canada and still praciin Nigeria. This is because Canada is a common law country as Nigeria. Also before you can practice in Nigeria after your studies in Canada, you must go through the Nigerian law school where you will enroll on Bar Part 1 for few months and then Bar Part 2 for 1 year. After which you will be called to the Nigerian bar.

Actually, this information is not correct regarding the SOWP funds requirements. These figures as shown are for sponsorship under the "Family class' and the "Canadian class" categories. These kind of sponsorship is completely different from the SOWP.

In the above class, the sponsor must either be a PR, Citizen or have valid work permit to be able to sponsor a 'spouse' ' common law partner' ' Parent' or ' any dependant' with a job and with minimum income as stated in your post above.

The SOWP is completely dependent on a study permit holder(Student). The conditions of the SOWP are also subject to those of the study permit holder. The SOWP requires an additional funds of 4k from the PA( student) in addition to funds required for a study permit application and therefore the PA will not have to work in Canada to show the minimum requirement to be able to to sponsor a spouse as your post noted.

Note also that in a SOWP, the must be strong evidence indicative that both PA and spouse would leave Canada at the end of the study.

I think in your sop you should emphasize more on the benefits you will get in studying it in Canada than Philippine may be because of their standardized learning system is more better than Philippine but don't talk about Philippine not allowing foreigners to write license exams because the VO with think your main aim in wanting to study in Canada Is just to be licensed and start practicing in canada therefore not returning to your home country after your studies

Please one more question, like I said earlier my application was denied and the only reason given was that my assets and personal funds is not sufficient to prove that I will return after studies. I want to reapply but I don't have even up-to 300k in my account but I want to attach investment and some other documents. Please hope I won't have a refusal because of the account.
