The Law states you can only have an age exemption if you got your first degree above 30yrs of age, regardless of whether you got your degree on Jupiter

On serving she only came back into the country 10years after graduating she shud be allowed to get an exemption letter on certain grounds especially since she was now above 30. Which one is serve again.

Which head wan roll? Did u listen to channels sunrise daily this morning? NYSc former mobilization Officer said that the certificates is fake and most ur have been printed outside and not by NYSC. The person that signed the cert left office in Jan that year, while the cert was signed in March or thereabout. Adeosun should tell us where she got the cert and her head should roll instead.

So many Nigerians are chasing what Is not all that necessary. We leave important issues then and pursue less important. Well, this goes to those on social media and who ever dug this file. Am not a supporter of whatsoever but why didn't we have time to resist the President then when discovered he didn't go to school? We have graduates with excellent post graduates too and yet a president without O'level is ruling and some of us are here wailing about a full graduate of London higher institution, only because of NYSC, some of us are just too eye service and most times wants to join the public to talk. This saga will get no where! If anybody is waiting for finance minister to be sacked then just keep sleeping and enjoy your dream. A whole President of Nigeria is without Secondary education, when the issue came up, what did we do? Ranted that's all... Let's be sincere until we take the important issue we will not move forward! Nigeria is still acting in line with the First Law of Motion (we are still in the state of rest).

Let others that passed out with you show us there own bearing Bomoi's signature.

You can show us the whole certificate bearing your name and NYSC discharge if you know it is not a forged certificate you are having.

Was it only Kemi's own that was signed by Bomoi on September? Let them show us their records in their book of life showing Kemi's handwriting as she wrote her name in the NYSC book of life or the should just own up to her forgery case.

Get me right. Am not saying Adeosun ' own is genuine or not but base on the point given that bomoi Retired Jan and his signature can't be used after retirement.

I'm Nigerian (born and bred abroad) and I graduated at the age of 22 from a foreign university without any hope or intention to return back to Nigeria to pursue any employment or political office. 10 years later I decided to return back home after getting an employment offer and was told NYSC was prequisite.

I'm now 32 years, NYSC act says those 30 years and above are exempted from serving, I got an exemption certificate .....how is this an issue? Can someone help me understand all these? Thank you.

I understand your point which is due to the simple fact that Bomoi was in charge as of the time your batch entered camp in March 2008 when you wrote your name in the NYSC book of life and the signing of your certificates commenced then.

But same cannot be said of someone that got exemption in September 2009. The DG that took over from Bomoi in January is still alive, he should come out clean and tell us the first set of exemption certificates that he signed with documented proofs.

Then they should tell us if Kemi in the first place is qualified to be given an exemption certificate having gotten her Diploma at 22 yes accompanied with valid proofs in the NYSC register. These things won't take 20mins to confirm.

In this Kemi's scenario, she should have been made to serve, since she graduated at 22.

Don't mind them jaaaaare! Is it NYSC that struggles to get funding for each batch of Orientation Camp that will now discard thousands of printed exemption and discharge certificates to bear the name of the new DG?

Its not as if the DG signs each and everyone of the certificate rather his/her signature are imprinted on the certificate. Government agencies such as the NYSC usually give a period of grace to change all of such documents.

If I was mobilized for the scheme under Bamoi, its just as ideal that the discharge certificate to be issued me would bear his signature whether he's still there or not. Its just the aberration of the system that makes it look wrong ...its not!

Our universities are culprits here. You graduate 2000 under VC Professor A, university does not release your certificate until 10 years later and when they do, they release it under the signature of VC Professor B who took over from Professor A despite Professor A presiding over the university senate that approved the results
