I want France to win this one cause they have been the best team in the mundial alongside Belgium... But I have this hunch that what happened in Euro 2016 may repeat itself on Sunday with whoever wins ENG/CRO match luckily tipping France for the winner like Portugal did. Something tells me the lucky team may be England |

Jarus:Belgium are currently punching above their weight which can be attributed to the present crop of above average players (their golden generation), but don't let that distract you from the fact that they are only 11 million in total population (slightly lesser than the Netherlands and Portugal and much lesser than the significant populace of Germany, France and England), and thus. lesser pool of talent to draw from. When the current crop of players eventually retire, Belgium is gonna find it hard to easily replace them . The Netherlands are currently undergoing this process as they were unable to qualify for Euro 2016 and Russia 2018 since their golden generation hung up their boots. Russia is the most populated country in Europe (160 million), and so by logic, should have the largest pool of talent to draw from. Germany comes second with 85 million. France and England 3rd and 4th respectively with 67 and 55 million each. 2 Likes |

kbbanj10: Oh yeah? It's quite interesting though. Two ancient rivals who have fought gruesome battles on different battle fields get to settle score on a football field somewhere in Russia. May the best man win. |
