We are on same boat...start gathering your doc now ....for winter semester schools start application nov(2018),jan,feb,mar,april,may,june and ends July2019 while for summer Aug sep Oct, nov 2018 most schools portal should open

Would advice u browse thru daad.de and select your universities then browse thru the uni website to get there requirements and application procedure

For example having a friend who is a white man and a German citizen agreeing to sign sponsorship for you. Do you think it is going to affect the AM. Regards

Hello people,

I just want to say a few things based on the last interview transcript I read.

I'm talking from experience because I certified my documents at the embassy.

Please note that a lot of people are within the environment of the embassy and their only aim is to cheat other people and make money.

When preparing for your visa interview, please ensure you read and over read your checklist documents and keep checking your documents to ensure you have everything complete. All the instructions you will ever need are on the checklist documents so why allow a nobody (who is trying to make ends meet) distract you from your goal?

Also ensure you make as many photocopies as possible (MY ONE KOBO) I read about someone on this forum who forgot to photocopy a document but had to do a single page for 1,000 over there. It's like they're punishing you for not being extra careful when gathering your documents

The embassy has stated that you shouldn't bring Bags bigger than 30 cm x 40 cm x 15. This does not mean that you shouldn't carry a bag at all. You can carry a SMALL HAND BAG and not an OVERSIZED SCHOOL BAG or rather don't carry a bag but a folder DO WHICH ONE YOU LIKE, I'M JUST GIVING AN ADVISE HERE BEFORE SOMEONE WILL ATTACK ME NOW).
Once you're allowed into the embassy, they already have places where they can keep your bag and phone. DO NOT LET ANYONE TELL YOU THEY CAN KEEP YOUR BAG AND PHONE FOR 1k. That's theft in broad day light.

According to the previous transcript, a woman (who keeps bags for other people for 1k) said ordinary pen is a sharp object and it won't be allowed into the embassy!!! Isn't that hilarious . Thank God that guy ignored her, but the sad truth is so many people have fallen victim to such nonsense!

Once again, ensure you go through your documents over and over again! There's no harm in doing that. On the day of your interview, Head straight to the embassy and ignore anything any other person tell you about documents that do not exist in your checklist!

Remember those people already know the services offered at the embassy but they will take advantage of your ignorance. DO NOT BECOME A VICTIM

How many days would it take?

Mine took about three days. Started the process on Thursday so that might have been a factor.

Guys, let us still be cautious in our mails to embassy.
Remember they don't know about NL so it will not be appropriate telling them that some of our friends on NL are getting August
Instead of focusing on interview date review, focus on your BA or SL.
If you can get them done before interview, it will facilitate visa processing.
Just an advice.
Abeg, make NL be our underground .

the person that told you this is also right. For some schools, application for summer places starts early August.
