This is Nigeria. The truth is this type of things happen. In 2013, when I got my present FG Job, 6 out of the 25 successful ones didn’t see their appointment letter. They were panicking and almost crying until they told them their sponsors had already picked it for them, But the sponsors waited for the merit candidates to get their letters before giving it out.
We should all chill, DPR will call the merit successful ones. Im so sure
I just pray I shd be among Cos I already typed my resignation letter here ��

It still baffles me how fellow applicants like you and I came here to talk about how transparent this particular recruitment is, shouting 80% merit, probably after been bribed or given assurance of a position at DPR, dishing out stories of how Mr.Tata is a saint, only for them to vanish after they collected the APLs, mission accomplished ba? Are these the so called leaders of tomorrow?

you would ask yourself why DPR is unable to debunk all these claims if everything is alright. They were too quick to respond when the first stakeholders list came out last year because nothing had been done by then but now .....they have all gone to sleep......it is well

Apparently, I know how frustrating it is to be a Nigerian where nothing absolutely really works. Before I digress, here is the revelation;

Can you all remember a published article claiming DPR recruited 600 employees? Well, this is really true.

Stakeholders and special candidates are given their due slots. Stakeholders have 200 special candidates.

The rest of the applicants are to battle for the remaining 400 slots. Out of this 400 slots, candidates on merits are a bit over 300, the remaining slots are reserved for few top shots including FCC candidates etc.

Well, I feel I need to tell you guys this.

Apparently, the 200 special candidates are the ones picking up their appointment letters.

400 slots are currently openly published but in the real sense, they have already circulated an article claiming the number is 600.

I will like to officially say, the recruitment is 50-50 supposed to the 80% merit I had claimed.

If you have a link at DPR, you can confirm this.

I feel all applicants should come together. At this point, there has to be a movement!!! If by next week, candidates on merit haven't started sharing testimonies- WE WILL TAKE THE BULL BY THE HORN!! I will update you soon.

I am not saying APPLICANTS should protest in a hurry, I am only saying everyone should be alert!! If no candidate on merit has been called till Monday, action should be taken.

It is really funny how things happen in this country. How on earth will a candidate for a federal government job have a sponsor? Funny, really funny

The recruitment is taking a new shape. If they have started giving letters to the 200 special candidates, they have to start giving letters to the remaining 400, they can't sweep this recruitment under the carpet and dash away the hope of candidates on merit!!! We have the tools at hand (SOCIAL MEDIA), I don't care if they have to scrap this recruitment, they just have to be fair to the children of common men. Nothing in this freaking country works, the government has failed us, and they are about wasting 2 freaking years AGAIN! I don't think you should let that happen. I repeat, if sons of common men don't start receiving calls to pick up their appointment letters from next week, WE WILL ASK QUESTIONS. During the last recruitment, the applicant fought really hard, I guess it's right about time current applicants fight for theirs.

I'm sorry you are wasting your time. The same social media will be used against you. Like I earlier stated soon a lot of fake people who knew nobody will start coming out. They will swear they don't no anybody. Its the rule. Nobody talks. I was told that the reason why people keep quiet about who their sponsors are is not because anything can be done, its because your sponsors can be used against you when their tenure expires. For instance, if someone is riding on the back of a minister. Once the minister is gone, people in the office who hated the minister or hated you but could not do anything but happen to be your superiors will first effect a change for transfer. That's what is usually done especially to women in government service. You can be transferred to gombe. Because of all this and so many more, everyone covers their tracks. Like I keep writing. Merit list is not even 50 percent. Yes 200 are for stakeholders. The 400 are for FCC people, DPR people and ex staff whose children are also priority. Before you talk of merit. Again, I write with all confidence merit is not 50% .

It is really funny how you have fellow job candidates having sponsors for themselves. I don't remember anywhere on that form that had the provision for sponsors

This recruitment was proposed to be like CBN i.e call the stakeholders ONLY and take the test and interview for them and employ them.

ONE man A.R. Shakur stood for us to make sure at least the average Nigerian has a fighting chance. it has been a difficult period since the application to date. but that's what you get when you are fighting the due process. since the beginning of the process, he was the only one that had complete knowledge about this recruitment and he is still the only one that does.

all the information (speculations) coming out from here and there are just people guessing...

I can bet you that if you go ahead to protest, the angry politicians that didn't get to put their candidates because of the merit list will join you, and after if peradventure the recruitment is cancelled the will do it underground and deny the recruited anybody which makes it a whole lot easier for them...

i can guarantee you that there were no tracks left uncovered in this recruitment all candidates took tests and interviews, all candidates had the necessary degrees, basically whether stakeholder or not you must have crossed the pass mark...

so we really do not have any proof to say that the recruitment was biased, we are reporting to the same government that wants to hijack the recruitment .. it is well

There is still another list hanging. The total is 400!!! And that is the list consisting of most candidates on merit. Here is my concern; if the current APL indicated resumption date to be 13th August, all APL should be out by now. DPR agents are on this thread, they read what is going on, and I am openly questioning them to provide the APL of the remaining candidates.

I am not saying you shouldn't get in special candidates, I am only requesting that you are fair with this recruitment and release other appointments to ease the psychological trauma of all applicants.

It is WICKEDNESS on the part of DPR to only process 200 letters. They need to start working on other applicants, they should start sending successful candidates notification.
