All this is because Ekiti is a rural state comprises mainly of people who are used to native lifestyle. The few elites don't stay at home. I always ask the question if the tout & area boy system of governance presently being witnessed in Ekiti can ever happen in Ogun State? PDP appointed the Akwa Ibom state governor Emmanuel Udom as the PDP campaign chairman of Ekiti State. Who was the campaign chairman of PDP in Anambra in the last governorship election in Anambra? There was demonstrations in Owerri over incidents that happened at Ado-Ekiti. Ibos are demonstrating over the people their ignorant boys called afonja. In 2014, Chris Uba was at Ado giving instructions to mopol. What kind of native people do we have in that state? Imagine how the Commander In Chief was embarrassed on Tuesday

Please, nobody should come and tell us how helicopter flew into Government House again. Please, Seun, don't put any news about Fayose strategy to win in front page again.Remember how nairaland server got crashed in 2014 Ekiti election & the server went offline for several hours that day. Helicopter flew into Ekiti on the eve of 2018 election while the state was on siege on the eve of 2014 election.

I didn't fall for anything. I already knew about it as early as 8.30am today as we were alerted long before it became public information .

The helicopter was not yet airborne when we were alerted.

BREAKING: Video Shows Ekiti PDP Bribing Voters With N,3000 To N5,000 At Old Govt House | Sahara Reporters

An exclusive video footage received by SaharaReporters on Friday showed how the electorate were being bribed with money at the old Government House, Oke-Ayaba, Ado Ekiti to vote for the candidate of the PDP, Professor Olusola Kolapo Eleka.

Ahead of the Saturday’s governorship election in Ekiti State, the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has begun the inducement of the electorate with “cash”.

The cash gifts ranged from N3,000 to N5,000, and were being shared to prospective voters according to their political wards in the state.
Scores of supporters were seen in the video footage trooping into the old Government House to collect their own share of the money.

“I showed them my Permanent Voters Card (PVC) as an evidence that I am a voter in Ekiti and they gave me my own N3, 000…and I will vote on Saturday no matter the tension in the state,” one registered voter said.
Many party leaders were sighted inside the Government House doling out the cash as they canvassed support for the PDP ahead of Saturday.

As of the time of filling this report, it was unclear if the All Progressives Congress (APC), PDP’s main challenger, had been doing the same.
