I did my research and I noticed Russia is the only European country with enormous diversity with 180 ethnic groups. Even at that the Russians - the largest ethnic group makeup 83 percent. Why can't we copy Europe? Why are African descendants this way? Why do we take simple things hard? In Germany, the germans makeup 92 percent of Germany's population while the remaining are minorities and immigrants( blacks, turkish e.t.c.).

So restructuring will give that best of both worlds such that the state which are now somewhat ethnically homogeneous would be autonomous but have a larger market to sell our produce and buy from. This means people in Nigeria can get very rich just selling within the Nigerian Market but locally the state governments have more power over their economy and state that cannot compete are allowed to fail. But obviously Nigerians are still allowed to move across states and follow the economy. Obviously this still sacrifices homogeneity but each states gains access to a single market much like the EU.

Imagine the whole of Western Europe being lumped together as one country the same way the British imperialists lumped different diverse nations together and called them Nigeria.Wont the Germans, French, English, Dutch etc be at each other's jugular?? Why do they have so many countries with small population of less than 20 million and landmass that respects each other's ethnicity yet they gathered hundreds of distinct black ethnicities and dumped them together as one country?? Why didn't they respect our diversities just like them in Europe?? Or is it because we are blacks?? Or was it even on purpose to make sure we continue to fight each other perennially and remain backward instead of having no distractions that would make us focus on our individual well being and development?? America is a migrant country, and UK is still controlled by the indigenous English, Scottish, Wales and Irish, who constitute the vast majority, in their respective territories. London as a City, doesn't exist in isolation.

The USA has a dominant culture (White Anglo Saxon Protestant - WASP) around which all other sub-groups coalesced. Subsequent groups from the Irish Catholics down to present day immigrants have had to adapt and adopt key elements of the dominant WASP culture to gain acceptance and ultimately achieve success in the American society.

It wasn’t a superficial issue of skin color. It’s about ethnicity, culture and heritage.
