I guess he updated it from windows 8 or 7. For touchscreen to work in windows 10 for many x360 models, it needs a fresh install of windows 10 not an upgrade. That way, windows 10 will install the necessary drivers needed.

Hello.

You can enable the touch from the BIOS.

Get into BIOS by pressing F10 during start up > look "system devices" or a corresponding name (because the name might be different depending song in the BIOS version)

You will see a list of devices including the touch(possibly disabled), Enable it.


A sure fire way to get the touch working is to download the driver from the manufacturers site

Visit hp.com then navigate to the "support and drivers tab". From there you can get a list of the drivers for your laptop by putting in the system name and series in the box provided. >download and install the driver only the display driver.

Don't forget that your laptop model looks like this ;
Hp m6-e00nia. Find yours at the bottom of the laptop. Another way to find it is to press F1 during startup. You can also find this in system information by typing "msinfo32" in the search bar and then pressing "enter".

Actually, I downloaded an exe file some days ago that I was finding hard to install. I searched for solutions online and I came across one that told me to go to the registry editor and change the directory file form "program Files/(x86)" to Program Files (x86). Since then, most of the applications on my computer are not opening. I have tried to open reg editor as an admin but i've not been able to.
I'll appreciate any assistance. Thanks

It's not responding, and no pop up. My battery bar, WiFi bar, home, search bar etc ain't popping up. It started yesterday after upgrading on Thursday, I had to reinstall a new wins 10, the issue stopped, I was able to click the taskbar but now.. It's started again

I actually did a clean install upon upgrading...I think
I even resetted the laptop yesterday and installed a new wins 10.. The issue got resolved for a while and started again this morning.

I had 64mb vram on win 7.. Now I have 32mb vram on windows 10 ...I've updated the drivers...pls any other solution?

But a friend of mine directed me to a place in Kano known as farm center where I can get d ba3 fixed(d term is reconstruction) and I was told my ba3 wud last @least 2hrs+
I'm here to ask if there's any disadvantage to these or not.

so, what they are going to do is to replace the cells in the battery...They are literally going to open it, bring out the bad cells then put in good ones (not new ones). Now after they're done they calliberate the battery to be sure the right voltage is whats coming out of the terminals...

70% of the time, it does work.

Be sure to test before payment...dont expect 2hrs. except maybe you want to be staring at your laptop all day

The other side is that it might not work. So you're forced to go get another battery...

Also the duration reduces sharply over time.
Apparently the only advantage is that you're spending about 1/4 the cost of getting a new battery.

But imagine reconstructing your battery like twice in 1 year and 6 moths, then the cost suddenly increases by 1/2 the cost of the new battery!!
So I'm even struggling to see the advantage too

Another thing is if your situation is urgent, like really really urgent, then you can go for this temporary fix pending the time the cash for a new battery surfaces.

Finally,be sure that whoever is doing this knows what they are doing
