ok if we claimed to be all kind, true and loving why are we like this? we freaking backward in case you don't know... since the time of NEPA till date we can't do anything to bring change n most of our eldest n even some of us fear the change... 2019 get ur PVC and still vote same thieves that has been in power for more than a century.... Christians see all Muslims as killers and thieves...Muslims don't regard Christian life .... Igbos at the east hate yorubas n same goes the other way.... South, east and majority of west hate north..... neighbors both Christians pretend to love each other but pray against one another even using their names as prayer point...... oga ma still talk? cos e many..... u jus wan live in fantasy.... I shake my head

Your thinking out loud reminded me about my plight in port Harcourt after my nysc and as a home lesson teacher. I took up trekking all over port Harcourt from one home to the other teaching rich parents kid home lessons.

One thing I realized was that, rich Nigerian parents would never help you. They would like you to be teacher slave to their kids forever. I used to teach kids of one of the then rivers state house of assembly member in their living room, I used to teach kids of an NDDC board member and as well as an high ranking personnel of Chevron. I was also teaching kids of one guy even from my tribe o. He worked in a big multinational oil company in ph. Just to mention few big people that I was a “slave” home lesson teacher to their kids.

One very important thing I think was common to all of them is that, they avoid you as much as possible when it comes to asking them to help you as a graduate. One of them that we were even from the same State was even worse.

Black people don’t appreciate their own people. The same thing happens everywhere about black People. Thank God for the good gesture of this woman. May God bless her. But I doubt she would do the same if the teacher was a fellow Nigerian. I live in the US now. Even blacks here are no difference. They don’t appreciate fellow blacks the same way they respect white people.
